    The colors are not so good :( I tried to adjust it but nothing seems to work...at least for me :( I'm very disappointed I paid a lot of money and I'm not happy with it

    Shuts off on me and I'm just placing the remote control on the tv stand. Also certain time I get a blur picture on the screen.

    I was tempted by the price. Got it home and was disappointed in the picture quality. Exchanged for better TV following day.

    BAD TV BEWARE DON'T BUY 34 DAYS IT DIE...

    I purchase this tv 34 days ago..It was doing a update and now the TV will not start. Unfortunately I can't return it and I had purchase a 4 year service plan wich are now slacking in coming to my home and repair it. I was thinking Sony was Going to be a great buy I was wrong.

    Connecting to Netflix or Hulu takes at least 3 tries. There are constantly network connectivity or other errors.

    Returned TV

    After one week of use sometimes the Sony TV would not produce a picture or sound. The screen would have a light showing. Pushing the off button would not turn the light off. I had to unplug the TV and plug it back in. This happened twice in second week of use. I returned the TV. The store did not have another Sony so I got a Samsung. So far so good.

    One year two months and 2 days after hooking up TV it will no longer work properly. Contacted Sony and they told me since it was flashing a red led 6 times that it was a internal issue and would have to be serviced. It is now at a electronics repair shop.

    Bought this TV with the Sony surround system and the TV now won’t recognize its own internal speakers and their is no sound. Rebooted the TV, the surround sound and the Direct TV digital box. Made for a horrible Christmas never buying Sony again, never buying from Best Buy again

    Tv is having problems 15 months after purchase. (Warranty is 12 months). HDMI ports are going and the tv will randomly reboot itself. To get the HDMI ports working again you have to unplug the tv but they’ll only work for less than a day before they go out again

    Actual TV Review The 48" Sony W650D Bravia is a very slim profile TV that is 1080p. The picture quality is great, escpecially with a good range of deep blacks and bright whites. I bought a 1080p because I haven't yet jumped on board with 4k as the cost still isn't that low and all of my content comes through my Xbox One, which only supports games up to 1080p until the next version. I beleive in the quality of Sony so much, I would rather pay the same price for this over an lesser brand 4k television. It is also a "smart" TV but I didn't need or care to have one, so it's nice that those "smart" features are out of the way and not annoyingly apparent. The actual hardware itself is very simple and beautiful, with nice materials, and it's obvious that its a quality build by looking at is and touching it. I read a review that labeled it poor quality because the screen bends a bit when you pick it up - hint: that's how thin the TV is!. My gripe would be that there are only two HDMI ports. For me, that is okay because most of what I do is though the Xbox, but in 2016 three HMDI ports should be standard minimum. What annoys me the most is that one of the ports is on the back of the TV and sticks straight out towards the wall. I want to complain about this because I was going to wall mount it and HDMI connectors are generally large, but here's and even more annoying thing: that HDMI port is covered up by a standard wall mount bracket anyway, essentially limiting you to only one HDMI port! Like I said, it works for me, but maybe not for everyone else. Another thing I do like about it, and maybe its the settings or its native 60Hz rate.. but I HATE the "soap opera effect" that you see everywhere with new TVs where everything on the screen looks so fake and is part of the reason I was nervous to get a new TV. This made me happy that things move "normally" on the screen. Good luck shopping! ---- To give a bit of a background. To start, I am a bit bias toward Sony TVs because they are the best TVs. I've been using a 32" Sony Bravia for about a decade now, from Xbox 360 in high school through my college life and now with the Xbox One. I love that little TV (still looks/works fantastically!) I just wanted something a little bit bigger for a change. Last year I purchased a 55" 1080p Bravia from Sony (I refuse to jump on board with 4k yet considering you can't tell the difference at that size) - it was actually the most beautiful television I had ever seen, very good picture, super slim profile, metal base. Downside: even after debating and a lot of measuring, 55" was way to big for what I wanted in my small apartment, so I returned it and continued to use my 32" for another year. Which turned out to be good because this one is a lot more affordable and I didn't need 3d capabilities anyway. Fast forward to today. I've been slowly perusing TVs for a year and while I went to the store to buy a lower quality TV just for a bigger size to hold me over until I get a bigger apartment or buy a place. Most of them are so terrible I could bring myself to buy one... so I went with the 48" W650D Bravia here. It was on sale for a really good price. Still nervous it'd be too big (but it turned out to be just perfect size!). It is what I expect from Sony. Note to other looking around: spend the few extra dollars to buy this one over the R510C!

    Received Defective Product

    Its my first purchase from BestBuy and received a defective sony tv. The frame that holds the tv screen panel is loose and its not stuck to the frame. Aksing for a replacement and based on my experience i will change the stars for the review.

    Bought a Vizio right after I used this television. Worst slot locations for HDMI plugs, sound quality is bad, visual is fuzzy, & not recommended for video games. Does not take logic to return this in a heart beat.

    Broke after 3 months

    I purchased the tv in December. By February the tv didn't work I had to call Sony and they sent a technician to replace the whole system. I didn't call Best Buy because I didn't want another defective television

    Geek squad person treated us as if we were children and rushed through the instructions. As retired educators felt that he was very condescending, He hooked everything up nicely. His partner was very nice.

    This TV is a has been. It might of been a good tv a few years ago but it is now past its time and should be put out to pasture. I would explain further but no time. Trust me. Look else where.

    Do not buy this item if mounting to a wall. It only has 2 HDMI ports and one of them gets blocked by standard wall mounting brackets. Very poor design. Should not be on the market!

    Had a lot of issues with the operating system

    The OS would give me and error Everytime I turned it on and tried to do something. I would have to wait 5 minutes before running an app
