Took it back and got a Hisense. Best Buy return policy is great and now I am 100% satisfided.

The picture was too dark, blacks where blurry. Very flimsy and cheap looking. Exchanged it for a Samsung.

This tv started malfunctioning as soon as I turned it on. Horrible!!!! Retuned it the very next day.

I did alot of shoping for a tv and i found this one. I was debateing on this tv or a sharp 4k 50 inch for a little bit more. I picked this tv for the refresh rate of 240 and the excellent picture. Extreamly clear with no blur, where the 4k at 120 did have some blur with faster frames. Gaming woth this sony is amazing. I did connect with the internet to use netflix and vudu. Both were clear running in 1080p most of the time with my slower internet speed of about 6mbs. Sometimes dropimg to 720. Not a big diffeence but noticable. Streaming is great. Connection takes a min or two but once connected the tv runs fairly quick. Which is nice. The sound is not bad, but i did buy a sony sound bar for it. One thia i would change is add a few more hdmi ports. 2 is okay but 3 or 4 would be best. I use one hdmi port for my soundbar, and one used for my xbox one.

4 out of 5 stars (actually 4.5), only because TV speaker/sound quality just acceptable. I know new thinner TVs make it difficult, but with today's technology I really expect better sound especially from Sony. Apps selection and performance is good for me. It is difficult to compare TVs for what picture will be like especially for sports/motion, but I think this TV is pretty good. I almost bought a smaller 4K smart TV at same price, but I was sold on this larger 1080p w/120 refresh rate and Sony's enhanced Motionflow XR 240. Even with this on the 48" with 1080, watching football still has a very slight outline or blur that is just a little disappointing. But, watching standard high-def shows you don't see this and picture quality is excellent. Also, overall colors are vibrant while still real-to-life.

Easy setup, light as feather, good looking. Great TV with awesome pic quality and refresh rate. Sound could be better but still great for gaming and Youtube. I was carefully going over the reviews prior to purchase and found most of the one star ratings were caused by some impatient wait time upon setup. It's smart TV and it still needs time to connect to your WiFi connection each time it was turned on. And believe me, less app more durable to your TV. Overall a great purchase so far and hope it last long.

This Sony LED TV is awesome one!! I have been using it for almost 7 years now and haven't been a problem at all. SMART TV typing response is way quicker and doesn't lag like other non-standard TVs.

This TV sets up easily and has a nice clear bright picture. However if you are buying this to watch Netflix, the Netflix app does not work. You click the app and you get the loading screen then nothing happens. I have searched online for a solution and there are many many other people having this issue with Sony TVs not just this one. Hulu and Amazon work fine but no Netflix. From what I can tell Sony doesn't care at all about this issue as it has been ongoing for a while now and still no fix. There are only 2 HDMI inputs also so if you use Netflix you will probably have to buy an HDMI switch so you can use a Roku or Apple TV for Netflix because once you plug in a cable box and DVD player your ports are full.

Great HD TV at this price point. The 48" screen is perfect for a small room. It is very thin and looks more expensive than it is. Sony nailed it with this model in terms of price, performance, quality and look.

I have The Sony Bravia 48W600B and wanted to review it but is seems it is not a current model anymore. This is a newer model and is likely better yet. I like the incredibly smart TV smartness! It programmed itself for a Sony Blu-ray player, my Denon A/V receiver and automatically downloads a TV guide. Yeah! The picture is excellent. I don't use the Internet browser but watch Netflix, etc. Its nor a ROKU TV, a ROKU stick likely provides 100's more channels. I got the Clearstream 2V antenna and get stations from Nashville in Southern Kentucky most of the time. That tells me Sony makes a good tuner. I hooked up Sennheiser RS-175 headphones for night-time use. And I use a Denon AVR-S720 Audio/Video receiver for bigger sound with Pioneer by Andrew Jones tower speakers. When the central house HVAC is on I need that.

I love the picture for the tv very clear.. and I like the Netflix and smart features.. I hook up my hard drive to my tv and watch movies sometimes and it looks great. Sound is decent not better or worst than any other tv

This TV has good picture quality and a decent refresh rate. The sound however is quite low. I do enjoy that it works well with my Sony mobile features.

Using the tv for my PS4 and PC. Wish it would fully utilize 60 fps, only gives 59.94 max. Not a big difference, but for fighting games, you know one frame links could be super vital when counting. Overall fantasic television. Can't believe the colors. Put it on Sports mode. Don't feel any lag when playing my fighting games or shooting games so far. Side note: Handles a DIY sound system I bought (2 portable sound speakers with a Polk Audio subwoofer connected through various in-line wires) and surprisingly it's fantastic, don't think ill buy a sound system/ bar now.

Easy set up. Almost instant on (love that). The sound is good, not great, but with speakers in rear (as are all flat screens it seems) one can't expect perfection. The picture is clear and bright; love that the bezel is small with no glare. HOWEVER, if you are off to the side, the pic is NOT good. No problem there for me as I have the set directly across from me. My choice was this or LG; price won out for Sony. Would be 5 stars but for the side view problem.

I purchased this tv at a great buy at $400 to replace an LG tv that was only 3 years old and the picture went out. Vowing to never buy and LG tv again I looked at this one and a Samsung. I was convinced that this one edged out as a better buy. It's very user friendly to set up, has a sleek design, and the connections are pretty good. As many have commented, having only 2 HDMI ports doesn't make any sense by today's standards. Also, I am using this on a stand. It's not the greatest for wall mounting. Be patient with adjusting it for the best picture. It took me a little while to get the picture exactly the way I wanted it but it was worth it. As with pretty much all new tv's have a soundbar or receiver as the weak speakers don't cut it. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

This TV was so easy to set up. The features are also easy to use. Great picture and sound.

Listing states on Best Buy site in second sentence of description that you can select your favorite Apps with Wi-Fi connectivity and arrange the icons for easy remote use! After 1 1/2 hours on phone with Sony tech support was determined that the apps that are programmed in their software is all you can get! My last TV was a Smart Tv and it let us choose Pandora and Amazon and Ebay, etc. This unit does not!!
