warranty return at one month
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to contact Sony support a number of times in order to correct the fact that this tv would turn itself on at all hours of the day. Being that it was located in our bedroom, the middle of the night was truly unwanted. Their attempts to correct this issue did not work. I am now awaiting the replacement unit, and hoping it does not have this, or any other defect.

It is not user friendly and turns on and off at random times. The picture quality is okay but not sure how that matters if it shuts off and won't turn back on in the middle of a show or movie

It's okay

It's sold separately. Best Buy customer service said I have to buy it from Sony. They don't sell the remotes direct to customers. So still no voice to text. The tv is okay. Not worth the money though.

great TV, bad decision by Sony to break Android

Sony made the tragic decision to break Android and prevent the ability to launch apps the owner of the TV chooses to install. Sony instead has crapware dumped all over the home screen of the TV and basically destroys any hope of enjoying this fantastic hardware.

Problems within 30 days

Located in our bedroom makes the night turn on a real problem. So far Sony's attempts to correct have not been successful. I would stay away from Sony TV's. There are enough other choices!

NO. Do not buy this tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We've had this tv for one week and it's been nothing but problems: >When attempting to turn on the tv, it takes several attempts/reboots. because of this, once the tv is actually on and working we leave it on all day unitl we are going to bed at night. >In order to start the tv all HDMI cables have to be unplugged. If we do not do so the tv gets into a boot loop that never ends. >Once the tv is running and HDMIs are plugged back in changing HDMI inputs more often that not cause the tv to either have a picture and no sound or lose picture and sound completely, in which case we start the process ALL. OVER. AGAIN. Getting ready to pack this piece of junk up right now and take it back. DO NOT BUY THIS TV....FAIR WARNING.

Not a bargin

I did not do any research on this model. I thought since it was a Sony brand that it would be great. I will not make that mistake again. On top of that the service at the Independence Mo Best Buy absolutely sucked that day. The guy that was supposedly helping me was far more interested in the person texting him at work than talking to me about televisions. I took the Sony back after 4 days and bought Samsung. Product and service were great on the return and replacement.

Not a good unit for wifi

Absolutely NOT a SMART TV

My biggest issue is that it does not stay connected to the internet, which seems to be the entire purpose of a SMART tv. Upon initial setup it did connect, but after a week of use it lost connection and was unable to connect again. Upon searching the internet, it seems that this is a standard issue with this television. I am so upset, I would absolutely return this if I could.

Not Worth It

As an AppleTV owner, we are very fortunate to not have to rely on the apps and operating system. Within 15 seconds of starting every program it will "lock up". Not on WiFi (wired for performance) and have completed 2 system resets in the 1 month we have had this.

What a TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went to get the cheaper LG or vizio, but the picture on this one was so much clearer it was worth the extra 150 for the more sharp and vibrant colors. The sound is really good too, deep and full and not tinny. Its an amazing tv that will beat your cheapo brands easily. The android TV is wonderful, download tons off apps. You can also look at the x800d sony for a 150 more it has trilimonus display and voice remote, but this was fine for my budget. The only con is the instructions for the stand are awful, its 6 screws that you need and the stand only fits the bracket one way to if you lose it reading the instructions just fit the peices together, its easy.

Not so Smart TV

As compared to another brand in my house the Sony lacked internet access options that were standard on the other brand and were preloaded for accessibility thru the remote.
