Customers are saying
Customers consistently note the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and clarity of the 49" Class (48.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range. Many users also appreciate its user-friendly setup, affordable price, and suitability for gaming. While some users find the remote control to be cheap-looking and poorly designed, the overall positive feedback on the TV's core features outweighs these concerns.

Very Limited Control of Home Screen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture and features are comparable to my Samsung Smart TV but the home screen has 19 tiles on the "Featured Apps" section that dominates the home screen. You cannot delete them or even reorder them. Don't buy HBO Now on the TV, purchase it through your tablet or phone. It uses Google wallet which doesn't allow you to log in with an iPad or iPhone or even a Samsung smart TV. You will be more limited in apps selection. I have the same weather app on every tablet and smart TV except the Sony. It doesn't allow you to install AccuWeather. There is a nifty channel guide for over the air antennas but the android limitations make me wonder why I didn't get another Samsung.

TV after the purchase is horrible.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want a TV look to Samsung especially if you have any problems with a Sony. I purchased a Sony XBR 55 and a Sony 65 930d recently. The XBR last 20 hours and then no picture. I called Sony on July 1st and posted several reviews on this site, which were followed by " Sony Listens" responses and to email them. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME...THEY READ AND NEVER DO A THING. I've been trying to get this fixed or replaced since July 1st. After many calls and more hours wasted than the TV lasted, they agreed to replace the brand new TV w a certified used TV. Great! Finally last week they called to schedule a delivery for July 27th and gave me a window between 8am and 8pm with a call an hour before delivery. I called Sony 877-591-7669 at 6pm last night and spoke with Micky the supervisor and he assured me that the TV would show up. I told him I'd call tomorrow at 9am if it didn't. I just called him and he I could only leave him a message. Still waiting for the call from Micky.... Btw, Sony, whatever ever you do, don't posted a "Sony Listens" comment after this. It just makes me want to write more negative reviews about your lousy support and products.
