I wanted the best 49” TV available. After doing a fair amount of research I decided to purchase the Sony XBR49X900E. I am not disappointed. Excellent picture, colors very vibrant. Noticible upgrade from my ~10 year old Sony 46” LED. Very happy with this purchase.

We have this same tv in a larger size for our basement for about a year now & love it so when the time came to replace the tv in our upstairs living room we knew exactly what to get, just a little smaller. Excellent picture for everyday shows, movies & video games

This is the second XRB900 series. Bought the 65 inch for the family room and had to break down and get the 49inch for the bedroom. The picture is fanominal and paired with a sony sound bar and you've got great tv. Highly, highly recommend the sony brand.

This tv is awesome. I upgraded from the x800d and it's totally worth it. The hdr is awesome not fully 1,000 nits but about 900nits. Love watching movies on this and playing hdr games on my PS4 pro. I totally recommend this as it has a nice price and it's totally worth it.

We really like this 49" television, easy set up, great picture. We added a sound bar so I can't really rate the sound on it, but the 4k picture is amazing. Movies are a lot of fun to watch. I'm not a gamer so I can't give an opinion of that. Worth every penny.

This is the second SONY 900E that I have bought. The other is a 65" that I am also very happy with. The thing to keep in mind is this TV will need a sound bar to complete the movie experience. The TV built in speakers are just OK but the picture is outstanding.

Very satisfied with this purchase. Best TV for its size. Excellent picture quality for whatever you put on this TV. 4K movies, videos, or Xbox One X are truly magnificent. Spend the extra money it’s worth it. The old saying is true. You get what you pay for.

I'm very happy with the Sony Smart 4-K Ultra HD TV I purchased last week. Easy to connect and picture quality is excellent. It costs more than competing brands but well worth the price. I also purchased an external sound system which enhances the experience.

Purchased for PlayStation gaming system in the kids room. Fantastic picture quality. Motion is very good. Colors are good. Screen gives life like visuals to characters. Really good TV for gaming at this price point. For movies I would suggest an OLED.

This TV was purchased to replace a smaller one that did not fit our space. I wanted to get the best picture quality and there were not many top end sets in a 49 inch size, which was the upper limit for our cabinet. So far I am very satisfied with this Sony,

Bought this TV for my 18 year-old tech-savvy son. He spent hours tuning it to his exacting specifications and it is awesome. Great picture and sound for a mid-priced HDTV. It has a ton of features that most people (including me), may never need or use.

I like the tv it looks really nice though I wish I would of saved a bit more to get the 930e model instead. I still fell like LG tvs look nicer but I do love this tv.

This TV lives up to online reviews! The picture is stunning for led/lcd. The frame and stand look classy, although I miss the ability to swivel. Android software is a bit slow, but I love how it was easy to link to my google account using my phone.

The picture and audio on the tv are true Sony quality. Filled with features and easy to use. Great WiFi connection. Bought this tv for 2018 World Cup, two years later still loving it. Rave about it all the time.

This tv is amazing. So much so I want to replace all my tv's with this series. Had to replace my brothers tv after storms fried his. He is a huge gamer and the graphic and refresh rate are amazing.

Highly recommend it, if you are looking for a good TV for playing video games or watch movies in 4K, you found it.

Great Picture, Good selection of inputs including component and composite (for those who occasionally use a VCR). Navigation between inputs is easier than with Samsung (much better remote).

As of August 2018 this TV is not one of the newest and best TVs but it still holds up as one of the best TVs with a great value. The picture quality is stunning with right content (4K content and games) and the price is very reasonable.

Best TV on the market for gaming, makes it feel like you are right there.
