The grass watching golf and football was "smoothed" so much I couldn't watch it. Sony tech support was no help. I wish someone at Sony would have told me my set was defective, but they did not, so I returned it.

And the software has been glitchy ever since. I own much older Sony Bravia’s with no problems. But today it suddenly stopped working completely. Won’t turn on and I did all the standard power reset as listed in the manual. I put a call into Sony for support they said well contact you in 24 hours. So I can’t even know what to do (go buy a new tv or ship this one off and into a black hole or trash it).

I spent over an hour on the phone with Sony tech support (they were great) trying to resolve an issue with blurring grass during golf and football. They controlled my tv and tried various settings, but nothing worked. They promised a call back in 48 hours. When the call didn't come, I returned the tv. If someone would have told me the set was defective, I would have traded it for another, but, as I said, they never called back. If I didn't care about sports, I would have loved the tv.
