    Best TV I've ever owned. My previous TV was good but I never had a 4k television, so I had no idea what I was missing out on. Picture quality is great. I recently bought a pair of amazing headphones that rarely leave my head, however on my previous tv it was difficult to get decent(loud enough but never reaches a loud volume even at 88% volume) sound quality. On my new Sony TV however, I was blown away. I hooked up my Disney+ account and watched the new Avengers movie. The sound was loud enough for me at 20% volume! Any louder than that and it is too loud. The volume without headphones is equally great. The quality of the sound itself phenomenal, pair that with my amazing headphones, a match made in heaven. I played video games on it, great. There is even a gaming setting on the tv. I can't wait to get my Playstation 5 to fully experience the power of this tv. There are a lot of other things I haven't said that might interest you even more if you look into it. I've had it for little over a month now, and I love it. I highly suggest this TV.

    Can't go wrong with this 4K Smart TV

    Don't bother with LG, Samsung, Insignia or Vizio. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on a Sony. Picture is head and shoulders better than the others at this size. I have the 49". The Dolby Vision is a definite plus. As of August there is NOT an Apple TV app. I was hoping it was there but it does have Air Play. I prefer having the app on the TV as to not tie up the phone. I was told by the salesperson that the app is coming. Sony is this true? Samsung and Lg already have the app built into their TV's. Let's go. Overall a great 4K television. A bit pricier than the others but you get what you pay for. I had the LG, Samsung and Sony side by side and Sony was the true winner. Only drawback is not enough apps to stream especially the Apple TV app. Hoping Sony will read the feedback and rectify this shortcoming.

    Great as computer monitor

    I use it as a computer monitor. Have bad eyes love the visibility for reading. Viewing angle: good (great among IPS panels) but not oled or CRT either. Usable. Runs google games and productivity software (why do I need a PC again?) . 60hz is not 120hz but oh well, 120 is so new my video card can't do that for gaming. Has free 4k tv content (largest library in the world). I feel hisense qled ($200 more) would be more minus than plus due to it's reduced viewing angle, as a computer monitor. Also I'm sure if I need zone driven disco laser show inside my tv: great photo quality of sony is enough. Use Sony as a computer monitor if you have have poor eyes or need extra desktop space. Get a $125 1080p HP IPS panel 75hz 24" if: you are replacing a failed LED monitor with a same old-tech good looking monitor and already have a TV.

    I bought 2 other TVs this Black Friday weekend and returned both of them to send a extra $100 to get this TV which has a much better picture. I have a 75' Sony TV in my living room so I guess I'm used to top quality. The LG and Samsung picture wasn't so clear as this Sony so its a no brainer to spend more to get the best since we only live once. I will only buy Sony for now on when they are on sale.

    told google on my phone to setup device. Found it transferred my login and data. Amazing!! remote replaces tv controller. Set has great picture. Got the 49" unit. Can use my home theater for tv sound, playing cd's and dvds. Streams smooth with no lag. All from the remote.

    This is terrible. I’ve owned it for four years and I have to unplug it to reset it I don’t know if it’s the TV that’s not responding or the remote but it’s terrible

    We were excited to get this, our first flat screen TV. We were late to the party! I did a good deal of research before the purchase but we were at a disadvantage because we had nothing to compare it to but our 20 year old TV. Once it was on we were fairly disappointed. No matter what channel it was on there seemed to be a slight mist of white over the screen. Like an old photo that had been just a tiny bit overexposed. There is no true black. It looks like the color of the darkest gray drawing pencil. The colors in general are really off with greens and yellows being way too prominent, but I realize that adjusting the colors is possible. The salesman was a nice guy and gave us a great deal of information. He really recommended this TV. I knew about "edge lit" , "backlit" and "full array", and knew that edge lit was the cheaper level option. I mentioned this, but he brushed it aside. I wish he hadn't. He did try to talk us into the 55", which had the backlit screen but we live in a small condo and were afraid it would overwhelm the room. The long and short of it is that our 20 year old TV had much better color and was more responsive than this one. We found this Sony to also have some strange minor lag. Between that, the white mist, poor black color saturation and the price, we are returning it. We have already found another TV brand that offers a 50" backlit screen in 4K.

    Very good TV for the money

    I already had a Sony TV (65"). I wanted consistency in the menus, set-up, etc. What was nice is once I logged in it pulled all my information from my account and added all the apps. I have a LAN connection so connectivity was not an issue. Very happy with the TV.

    BEWARE, I hope you like rolling ads on home screen

    I've purchased 3 Sony TVs; XBR49, XBR65, and XBR75 (all from Best Buy, btw). Haven't had a lot of complaints until recently. This being an Android TV it is control by Google and if you know Google you know Google is all about ad revenue. A software update for the TV Home Screen got pushed to my TVs so that now the top 3rd of the home screen is taken up with Google "staff picks" which is another name for ads. I think we can all agree that Google doesn't put that stuff up there so we all have a more enjoyable viewing experience, it is for making ad revenue. The ads are even for channels or apps to which I am not subscribed and will never be subscribed. After researching I figured out how to unload the update on 2 of my TVs but I made the BIG mistake of doing a firmware update on one of my TVs and now I am stuck with these ads. You can't turn them off and Sony does not allow you to load a previous version of the firmware. I even purchased a basic app-buttons-only home screen app which now no longer works after the firmware update. Google has gone out of their way to force these ads to a TV which I purchased without ads and Sony obviously supports it by not allowing you to load previous firmware. I think it is unethical for Google to sells ads and make money using a device that I paid for (a lot). If my TVs were still within the return period I would take all 3 back to Best Buy. I'm giving 1 star to express my EXTREME frustration on this business practice and also in hopes it will cause someone to read it and be informed before purchasing. What's next? Go to start your car and you have to watch an ad on the screen before the car will start because it has an Android head unit?

    Absolute Garbage!

    This is the worst TV ever! Picture way too dark. colors too dull. picture starts out okay then starts to degrade the longer you are watching. constant flickering and glitches. too difficult and complicated to operate. TV Settings Menu too sparse compare 2017 Model Sony Bravia TV. Why would Sony even make such terrible crap? My 2017 Model Sony Bravia 4K Ultra HD TV always gave an incredible picture for every type of content no matter what. Picture quality does Not depend on type of content. And of course your answer for everything is either perform a power reset or perform a software update. Real Helpful. 'Cause software updates solve every problem. They're a cure all. And your response to any possible negative comment about products is just sales pitch. "Ooh, it's has Triluminous color, so it must good. My 2017 Model Sony Bravia had better picture quality. MY 2017 Model Sony Bravia was more well made. My 2017 Model was easier to use. All TVs nowadays are too complicated. It's not fair! 2017 Model Sony Bravia TVs are good and all 2020 Model Sony TV are crap.

    Too many problems

    Not worth it. Locked picture, skipping, pixillation. Kept trying factory resets and Sony recommendations which teporarally fixed issues until past return time at Best Buy and Sony won't give a refund. The last check was to try another TV. Hooked up an LG OLED and it worked perfectly.....expensive lesson. Sony customer service is not exceptional either. Have been a Sony customer for 30 years, not now.

    TV didnt last

    I have always been a sony fan but not anymore. My television came on then suddenly 3 secs later went off with a red light( won't stay on). I googled to see if this was something minor and common. Well it's not minor and it seems common. And I'm out of 100$$$ because I have to BUY another TV. If you buy sony I suggest you get the warranty.
