Too Much TEchnology

Very difficult to change inputs. No user manuals that help with set up or use of product included online manuals are insufficient and hard to locate. On line support has not been helpful. This replaced same sony model that lost picture after only 3 years and very few hours use. This may be my last sony product.

No thanks, as there are innumerable privacy issues with setting up this TV and mandatory acceptance of Google's terms and services. I'm having issues setting this TV up without allowing Google to collect information I don't wish to share. This will be my last TV w/Sony if it comes compromised by Google.

As part of the normal operation, the Google tools cannot be completely turned off as this TV is powered by Android. You can still enjoy some functions on your Android TV™ without signing-in to your Google™ account. You can watch TV programs and enjoy all Sony® apps, home network functions for the Album, Music, and Video apps and use the Network Electronic Program Guide (EPG). In addition, certain functions, such as the Google voice search function, Chromecast™'s built-in (Google Cast), internet browsing, and the YouTube™ app, are available without logging in to a Google account. However, you will not be able to rent or buy movies, TV shows, and apps from the Google Play™ Store.

We’re sorry to hear if the TV failed to meet your expectations. We’d love to help you troubleshoot your problem. The TV previously had a function called “Miracast” but now has changed.
The X950H supports CHROMECAST BUILT-IN for your Android device. Chromecast lets you cast your favorite videos, games, and apps from your mobile device, in full quality, to your TV. Just one tap of the Cast button on your Android or iOS screen is all you need to supersize the things you love. Cast your content then continue browsing on your phone or tablet. Simply connect your mobile device and TV to the same WiFi and the option to chromecast should appear on your device display settings.
In addition, the X950H also supports Airplay2 compatibility if you have extra apple devices that you want to cast to the TV as well.

We are glad that the TV works great. Your X950H comes with Netflix pre-installed. Once the TV is connected to your network wired or wireless, simply hit Netflix button on the remote control and you can enjoy your favorite show as long as you have an account.
For movie rentals, there are a variety of applications that you can do that from, as long as you have a google account signed in, you can download and rent them through google play store and much more.

Not that Great!

Sound failure happened quickly

How does the flagship TV not have the top feature?
