I bought this for my office for background music. Reliability and not skipping were the most important features for me. The product works very well and satisfies the need. Obviously, the sound is not "audiophile" quality for this price, but someone looking for a player that will reproduce music to that level of accuracy and warmth would not be looking at this price point. It gets my needs and is good at the price.

I was looking for a 5 disc changer for my living room with my surround sound. This thing doesn't disappoint. Does and plays everything that it says it does. My local best buy had an open box for $114 online. When I got to the store it was listed for $73. When I went to pay they charged me $50 for being a loyal customer. I love best buy and their helpful employees. When I got home from the store to unbox my new cd payer I was excited to learn that this item was truly an open box. It was never played. Just my luck I scored this thing for $50 as they are charging full price and more on Amazon and ebay.

It is a good, basic machine the provides all I need.

All functions including remote work well and easy to use.

We simply wanted to replace the CD player we had with an upgrade. This was what we were looking for. The remote is easy to use and switching between discs is simple and quick. The automatic shutoff after a few minutes of non-playing (pause, e.g.) is a good, energy-saving feature. In short, we're very satisfied with it and the price was reasonable.

This cd changer was purchased to play music on a small business. Good product, good price.

User friendly multi-disc cd player - plus it's a Sony

I bought this because the 5 CD changer on my Sony Hi-Fi died after over 20 years. I still like to play physical CD's and this is a great option to play a variety of your favorites. I don't like that the play mode/shuffle can only be done on the remote not on the unit itself. My old one had both capabilities. Can't beat this for the price though.
