After hooking up the new one, it works fine but a little disappointed in the quality of sound. I have a sony dvd/cd change previously for 10+ years that had better sound quality.

Nice sound and smooth working for discs

This does a fine job for that, and the remote works from a good distance, so I can control the player from my kitchen. Both AM and FM radio reception are excellent, but when I'm listening to my favorite FM station in the morning, the player mysteriously shuts off.

It's exchange feature allows you to swap CDs while one is playing. Finally have music back in my shop and I really happy with the purchase.
