The picture and sound quality on this tv is great.

This is supposed to be a 3D tv but it doesn't work exactly like its supposed to.

3D was the main draw for me, and for the price I've gotten it for (between mid to high 600) I'm pleased. I will admit that this is my first 3D TV, and I'd imagine that the effect on my 3D Blu-Rays would be better than it is; lack of substantial depth, the motion flow feature and brighter contrast without some of the ghosting in the image. Whenever I watch a 3D movie, at the bottom left side of the TV, there will be this window that pops up constantly that says "Wide Mode: Full" without touching the remote. Those were some of the cons of the TV, the the pros are the price, sleek design, the smart tv apps are easy to use and overall good picture. This is a good TV, I do recommend this for anyone who is starting out into the 3D realm and looking to go from there, and great 2D HD image for everyone else.

Sony 50" smart TV was so dumb it would not show a picture but 50% of the time. The rest of the time it wanted me to buy apps and I could not get rid of that . Geek Squad was here 4 x and Direct TV once and NO ONE could fix it . Horrific overall experience. Geek squad talked me out of getting a replacement saying they could fix it but NOT TRUE. Getting replacement per my 5-yr extended warranty and California law.

I have had to master reset the tv, 2 times in a month and a half.

I have both this model and the 4K...both have the same menu systems and android Tv. I would go with the 4K over this model since the 4K on sale is almost the same.

50" 1080p with 4 hdmi ports and Android at $549.99 this was a hard bargain to beat. The color accuracy, response times, input lag are all well within expectations and far better than any of the low cost off brand garbage that cut corners.

Great TV and great smart functions but installation is not your normal Vesa mount I had to use a 2x4 and crest my own mount b/c of the way the back of the TV was designed that's why 4 stars otherwise if your not mounting it's a five.

Bought it November 22 2015 work fine until February 14 2016 half of the screen turn black bestbuy said they couldn't do anything cause its pass the return time now i have to deal with the warranty process of a tv that has been used less than 3 months not really happy

good tv.took a little longer to set up/download channels due to not being familiar with remote.3D glasses are a little costly and frames are visible while trying to watch a 3D movie

Bought this one because it was recommended for fast action like football games! When I moved my roommate liked it so much he asked to buy it from me!

When we went in to purchase our tv we kind of knew what we wanted. The sales man showed us a tv on sale and we couldn't turn it down. We couldn't be any happier!

I loved the tv. 14 months after purchasing this tv I began having a lot of problems with it. Of course 2 months after the warranty was out. I contacted Sony about the problem and asking questions about what was happening and I got no response at all. They never even acknowledged my contact. Very disappointed. Tv's of this price should last mire than a year. I can' buy another tv at this time, but when I can, I will look for something other than sony

Plugged right inane started using . Worked great with my other Sony products. Very user friendly but high tech for the price

Love this TV. No issues. Got it as a replacement for an RCA that the sound quit working on. Sony TV has not had any problems.
