    Display is distorted after 1 year

    I bought the TV in Nov 2015. It worked fine for 1 year, but started having display problems 15 months after purchase. As I was out of warranty, I reached out to a SONY authorized service center. They told me that the display panel is defective and has developed a crack. The best they could do for me is trash the TV, so I don't have to make a return trip to the service center to collect it again. I may not buy a Sony TV in the future again...
