Sony Never Disappoints

Wow, Sony never disappoints. I replaced my 10+ yo Plasma TV as the picture was fading in my very sunlit living room. The picture and sound are incredible. I bought the 50", it fits the room I have a condo. I used to have to close my blinds to watch the plasma tv but not with this one. It is bright and the quality is fantastic. The setup can be a little tricky if you're easily frustrated by that, just have Best Buy do the setup if you're not computer savvy, it will be worth it. I'm over 60 so once I realized the remote didn't have batteries installed it wasn't too bad but I like these kinds of challenges.

The tv has an excellent picture and good enough sound for regular tv viewing. The setup was a bit confusing. The remote takes some time to get used to because there are no numbers on it. I found I can use a sony remote from an older tv that has all the numbers on that makes changing channels easier. I have one wish that sony would have left a 3.5 mm plug for some of my older stereo equipment. I have a klipsh 2.1 system for my computer that I previously hooked up to my older sony tv. I would say it would be best for a movie experience to hook it up to a sound system. I have bought 7 Sony TVs since 1995 and have never had a quality issue with any of them. Its a bit more money but the sony quality is worth it

Absolutely gorgeous picture and TV very slim and lightweight. I got this TV used in excellent condition and it even came with its original box & all accessories line it’s never been used. This TV is amazing!

Excellent picture and perfect size for an apartment living room or bedroom. Unpacking it was a hassle, but I suppose that's necessary to protect it. If this model looks good to you, be sure to check out the 55-inch version; I failed to do so during a Memorial Day weekend sale and realized later I could have had the slighter larger version for just $40 or so more. I've got it hooked up to a Sony sound bar, so not sure just how good it sounds without the help.

Overall the TV is great! Great sound and picture. One negative is that the software updates tend to override my Home Screen setup which causes me to redo it. It is difficult to get the tv to stay hooked into external speakers.

The picture is awsome but some of the features or lack thereof I don't like. But overall it's worth the buy I've only ever owned sonys thats why I had a problem with some of the features.Im used to removing apps from the home screen that I don't use that particular feature is not there and the time of day on the homescreen without having to go to another screen.

This is everything our salesman said it would be. The sound, the brightness is great. The colors are vivid and it was easy to set up. I would definitely recommend this television. Also the price was reasonable. Would like to thank our salesman Roml, he exceptionally helpful and a joy to consult with, was very informative.

Great open box purchase. TV works great. Good value. Missing mounting screw parts. In fairness, I never reached out to Best Buy. Bought screws for $4 from Home Depot. Well worth the purchase.

Recently upgraded our 14 year old Insignia flatscreen. No complaints with our old tv, it served its purpose. We love our new Sony Bravia. The image quality and color are great. We especially like the sleeker design, which gives us more space on our wall.

High quality Sony TV

This is my first Sony TV since the days of the big box TVs. I've purchased Sharp, LG, Samsung, and Insignia brand TVs in the past. This is better than most of those brands. I have an OLED LG with better picture quality than this TV but it cost quite a bit more, and this TV comes pretty close to that quality. The build and look of this TV are great, the interface is easy to use and the remote control works well. I haven't tried gaming on this TV but for streaming, it's pretty close to perfect at this price point.

2nd tv in two years plus new fees from Best Buy

Bought this at the suggestion of the Best Buy salesman. We also purchased our previous tv through Best Buy. We started having problems with it and then lost picture. Although we are total tech we had to pay for the tech to come out. That fee was 99$ to tell us it could not be fixed. The tv was just a few months passed its two year warranty ! We also had to pay for delivery and install of the new tv. We’ll see if this tv lasts more than two years!

We have 2 65” a 75” few 34” this 50” was bigger for bedroom however very happy,had other brands: because of SONY and their high quality we will only buy SONY. Thank you Best Buy for selling me a good product that I recommend

Bought this tv because my “old” tv software could not be updated. The picture and the sound are exceptional! Had to purchase a ROKU as this tv would not allow download of tennis Channel App. TV is a Google product and I had a bit of a learning curve to understand how it worked.

The smart TV took a bit more to set up for an acceptable picture than an of my previous smart TVs. Works great now, just hope I dont get a reset and have to start over. Also disappointed with the remote and the fact that when changing channel too fast, the one gets a frozen picture. To fix, one needs to power off and back on.

I love Best Buy. Especially Coco my personal sales person who is extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. She’s knows her products and is very helpful. And so far Best Buy is excellent. I went to reschedule my appointment and it was sooooo smooth. I just called them and they took over and knew who I was by my phone number and then told me about my appointment and if I wanted to reschedule or other options,etc… I was like wow!! It was that easy. I didn’t have to speak to anyone nor be placed on hold. I called that supervisor customer service!!!!
