It is frustrating when your go-to gear doesn't work with a new setup. The K-50S30 is a great TV, but it does not have a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack like many older models did. Since your TV Ears likely use that analog connection, they won't plug directly into the back of the TV.
To get them working again, you can use a small Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC). This allows you to connect the TV's Optical Digital Audio Out to your TV Ears. Just make sure to go into your TV settings and set the Digital Audio Out to PCM so the sound sends correctly.
