You get what you pay for in this Sony TV! It has one of thee most beautiful displays I’ve ever seen! It is indeed pricey and I hated spending the money but truly it was worth it so far! I now just want to see how it last over time. I’m normally a Samsung girl, but have found their devices don’t last over 2 years buying from them seems like a waste so I am now hoping this time I got it right! I love all the apps that come on the tv and I currently have a switch, Apple TV, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 4 and the VR all connected too it at once and it works seamlessly switching to each input. Also the sound is amazing!!!!!!

My New Bravia

Actually, I bought a cheaper tv, but I could not forget about my daughter's Bravia. I took the cheap one back and purchased the Bravia. The picture is crisp and clear. I can read everything from the sofa. That is something. My eyes don't work so great from a distance. The pinks are pink, and the blues are blue. All colors are distinct. One more thing. I have a surround sound system that was not cheap, but I had never been happy with it. The moment that it came on while plugged into the Bravia, every opinion I had about the system changed in that moment. In a word, all I can say is WOW!

Rtings.com provided the best information and the TV model seemed best suited for my needs. Overall I am very satisfied so far. The TV is exactly as I expected. I am overall very pleased with the user interface and settings menu/navigation is very nice and streamlined with plenty of options and customizability. Color and picture is great. Black levels are great. 24p moves look like 24p movies. And gaming on PS5 is fantastic. Note: TV looses picture quality at an angle, especially with color, so keep this in mind with regards to where you will be placing it. Mine is in the bedroom with straight forward seating (which is optimum).

The TV streams on its own, so I don't need a separate streaming device, which is great because my old Apple one needed updating. And you can talk to it without doing any prep. Amazing! The screen notice say press so-and-so button and start talking and it works! I don't use cable, just regular channels and streaming. The built in antenna is awesome. Cannot say enough good things about this TV. Also, it is quite light weight for the size. My 12 year old smaller, 32" Sony weights a fair amount more than this 50" model. Buy it and fall in love...

This television has changed my life for the better, and I think you should buy it. I got it to use with my PS5 and wow, it syncs PERFECT. I just squealed with delight when I cranked this tv up for the first time. My wife thought a schoolgirl was being accosted in our living room. But it was ME! I was so happy! Get this with your Vidya games. Those OLEDs burn in. It’s not like an internet rumor or anything, they really do.

Spectacular TV and everything works correctly

No panel lottery problems, no software problems, Dolby Vision plays correctly with the Apple TV app and with a 4K UHD player (after some setup.) It's everything I wanted after not upgrading from 1080P to 4K for a very long time. Great brightness and contrast. I think there's some blooming or luminance settings that I still have to alter (against black/night scenes) but other than that I highly recommend this set.

There's one thing I don't like is that I can not get the Facebook app. For whatever reason, Sony doesn't allow it. So I deducted a star.

Watching the Red Sox tank a season isn’t as bad when you see it in 4k. Just kidding. It’s worse because of how well you could see the details. Never listened to the sound from the speakers. Setting up eARC for a sound bar is pretty simple. I had no idea Apple Music wasn’t available on Sony Bravias. Small issue overall, but disappointing. The remote initially worked fine with our Fios One, but after reconfiguring the inputs to rearrange our setup, the DVR button inexplicably will not work. Spent more time than necessary to get it to work, and still can’t figure it out.

Limited Viewing Angle Unacceptable

Brought this unit home and discovered that the viewing angle was super tight and unacceptable. I only had to move my head location for a foot or two from right or left of center to see image quality degrade significantly. Decided to replace with OLED TV to put that issue to rest. OLED units have practically a 180 degree viewing angle.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing TV has such a Great and Incredible Picture with Sound If you don’t have a big room the speakers the TV has will blow you away I come from a TLC Roku Seris 4 4K TV and this TV really blows my mind away with how it upscales 1080P movies up to 4K I watched Jumanji Welcome to the jungle thru Airplay and my TV was able to make it sound and looked so Good and the cinema Mode is incredible it makes everything so smooth and in place and then The image was in 4K, I have yet to tried the 4K 120FPs but I will buy a PlayStatiøn 5 soon and try it out
