I've always bought Samsung TV's because their colors are exceptionally close to life-like, but I think this TV has them beat in that department. The "Real Life Color" option gives you almost real-life colors that pop on the screen (especially if you're watching in Dolby Vision). Just unbelievable colors and clarity. Worth the purchase. Can't speak for the sound quality of the TV speakers, as I use a soundbar with my audio setup.

The recommended distance for comfortable viewing depends on the video or program you are watching, the viewing environment, and the physical conditions of the person watching it. I love being able to switch between Dolby Vision Bright and Dolby Vision Dark depending on day/night viewing. Picture quality coming from an AppleTV 4K is amazing. I always look at TVs and come away with Sony every time because of the color accuracy. Psst, hey Samsung, grass/turf isn't vivid neon green in real life. The sound quality is pretty good.

The picture quality is superb. A few adjustments in settings and the quality is perfect either from streaming or from a NAS. The user interface is very easy to use and only took a very short period of time to understand how to setup and use peripherals and online sites. It is the best TV that I have had for quality of picture and ease of use

Read lots of reviews and wandered around Best Buy comparing lots of different TVs before selecting this Sony. Glad I picked this one. The picture is crisp and colors vivid. I had a mid-level, five-year old Samsung that actually was working quite well, but this TV is clearly an upgrade. It cost a bit more than I wanted to pay, but it was worth it. If you have the money, go for it. You'll like it.

An expert Best Buy salesperson at the Manhattan Chelsea store walked me from one tv to another, pointing out what to look for in picture qualities and tv features, some of which are personal preference. After installation I was able to drop cable tv and go with streaming only. I am VERY happy with my new Sony Bravia tv. !

Got it on sale and id buy it even if it wasnt. Have you ever experienced feeling like a adolescence tenager who is just starting to control your mini me, that can be experienced again at 4k 120fps again. It just gets the tingling going again. 10/10 amazing for ps5/ even better for the nights alone ;)

Excellent sales rep succeeded in directing me to the Sony 50" class Bravia XR which I happily purchased. The picture is great but the sound is amazing. Purchased extended warranty for Geek Squad support and look forward to several years of enjoyment. Will happily recommend Best Buy to all friends and relatives, but they are already aware based upon previous recommendations.
