I really expect better SONY.. I’m gearing up to buy an 85” and I have no qualms about returning a $5k TV like I did this one. $1200.00 for a 50” there better not be any known issues for that kind of money, Otherwise the TV is gorgeous!

I have much difficulty getting my cable channels through Wi-Fi, doesn’t allow all my cable channels. It requires a login to come on. I am not sure how to change this feature that is annoying because I do not wish to login every time I want to watch tv. I have Wi-Fi and should not need to use my email address to login. Privacy Issue!

You can use the TV without setting up your phone or Google account. You can enjoy some functions on your Android TV™ or Google TV™ device without a Google™ account. In addition, certain functions (except for the Google TV model), such as the Google voice search function, Chromecast™ built-in (Google Cast), internet browsing, and the YouTube™ app, are available without logging in to a Google account.
