Overall great quality picture as well as feel of the tv

For this size 50 inches Smart TV great price and look.

I intended to upgrade my SAMSUNG TV to a Smart TV. Best Buy had one on sale. When I visited the store, I was told they had none in stock, but did have a SONY with all the same specifications as the SAMSUNG. i purchased the SONY. When we got it installed and turned on everything sounded like it was coming from the bottom of a barrel!!n No amount of changing sound could improve it to the quality of the SAMSUNG I had replaced! The advice I got was to install a sound bar or some other equipment - but that had no guarantee of improvement, either. I am over 70 years old and have some hearing problems. I now have to watch SONY TV with closed captions on, in order to understand what's gling on. Very dissatisfied!

Clear picture and good sound once everything was done

I usually purchase Samsung TVs but I know that Sony invented 4K so I decide to go for this model. It is fine overall, although the remote could be better. Also, I was expecting that it was an Android TV but I am not able to download apps from the Google Playstore. But for the quality and the price, it is an overall good buy.

The Sony X 690E series tv is an excellent middle range entertainment investment. We enjoy the UHD flatscreen tv, with its vivid colors and sharp screen. The only thing that is not top notch is the audio. It can sound like it is coming out of a tunnel.

We upgraded from our old "46 Sony Bravia only because we wanted the convenience of a smart TV. While the resolution is great, it took a while to get used to the shorter but wider screen. The low sound capacity had to be increased by activating "Enhanced sound" in the settings menu. Satisfied overall.

This TV produces very near state of the art type resolution with far less investment required while you can tell the difference side-by-side in the store depending on what you have at home that you’re upgrading from this is an exceptional value

I downgraded to this TV (only in terms of size) from a TCL P series 55”. This TV has great color saturation and deep, solid black image quality all the way through. Smooth motion is a hit, and input lag is super low for competitive gaming.

2 years in still working perfect, netflix & youtube app included with it is clutch & very convenient. You will enjoy gaming & streaming on this tv. Def recommend if they still make these

Honestly, I expect more from Sony. For 4K Tv picture is not that clear

TV color not as good as the LG j6300 and same price not worth the price. LG Samsung then Sony when choosing a TV as far as quality. This Sony is just as good as the off brands . A TV is just a TV unless you pay top dollar. LG screen is bar best took back Sony to get LG. LG was cheaper same size.

When I first purchased this the screen would go blank for no apparent reason but geek squad couldn't do anything because of course by the time my scheduled appointment came it was no longer doing it. Honestly haven't had an issue since then though

Great quality TV. Enjoy this TV other than the fact I can't download any apps that I want. Had to get a third party streaming device to get video streaming apps that I actually use.
