Excellent TV, beautiful colors, it's on 24-7 & has been going strong for 6 yrs!

I bought this TV from Coralridge mall at Coralville. I thought I paid a bargain price for a 50" 4K Sony TV with HDR. The picture quality is great and the sound is satisfactory. However, the one that I got initially seemed to have some software issues. The TV would freeze several times in a day like I noticed in some previous reviews (although I made sure the software was up-to-date). So, I decided to return the TV at the store and try my luck with a second one of the same make and model. The current TV doesn't seem to have any issues as such. So, wanna mention that some issues could be unique to a particular product, however, not necessarily representative of the model per se.

Amazing smart tv. Connected to my phone and was compatible with my ps4. So sad I lost it in a house fire. 10/10

After my 8yr old Toshiba 1080p TV gave out, I purchased this TV on sale and was torn between this one and 2 others. What set it apart was the sport motion as I watch alot of tennis and hockey. This TV surpassed my expectations for all viewing modes. Colors are true, set up was beyond easy, sound is fantastic! This TV is in a small well lit living room, in a cabinet so the darks look dramatic when watching movies as well. The only advice I would give anyone buying a 4k TV is make sure your satellite company is aware as your box will need to be upgraded. Unbelievable TV for the price, great deal!

Awesome 4K HDR TV! Easy setup, TV did all the setup work. Picture is unbelievable! Crisp, almost like being there, made no changes to settings!

What a great buy. I was set on a Samsung, but I couldn't pass up this deal. I never thought I'd be able to afford a tv this big. I am a woman who lives alone and was able to lift this tv into place by myself. I only have Internet and was able to set it up quickly. I've been watching Netflix and Hulu. Netflix is preloaded on the remote. Hulu was easy to find in apps. The sound and picture are great and I'm loving the big screen. My sister went out today and bought the same tv on my recommendation.

I gotta say, I'm impressed with Sony. I knew I would be getting a quality product with the name alone...but they really out did themselves on this one. Especially considering the price. Packaging was extraordinary. Using wood blocks on the corners to prevent damaging was a nice touch. Picture quality is exactly what I hoped it would be. The only downside for me is the base doesn't swivel or tilt. Sound is decent but not exceptional. I will probably add a sound bar. Great job Sony!!

Bought this television a couple of weeks ago and really like the picture. Paid 449.00 for it an it is a great value. Highly recommend this television for a Gift.

Replacing a 12 yr old Sony. Originally bought an LG, spent 12 days trying to adjust the color to no avail. This tv had perfect color right out of the box. I buy a tv for tv shows, sports and movies and so far it's spectacular. For the price, this is a phenomenal bargain. Best buy employees were very nice also with the return of the LG and replacement with the Sony.

Purchased this Sony to replace a 17 year old rear projection TV, which was always problematic, but we loved it nonetheless. This Sony has decent picture quality and was easy to set up. The stand feels cheap, but it does the job. Sound quality is average. It seems like this is intentional on many TV's today to entice the purchase of a sound bar. Overall would recommend. It does the job for us.

This is by far a lot better than we expected given the sale price. Great picture quality, sound and overall functionality! Would recommend and continue to buy SONY for years to come!

This television is very easy to use! It has features that I never knew existed on a tv. I can watch a pull up anything on my phone and share with the family using the tv.

I do not feel very happy with this tv picture quality.

Got it for really cheap, $429 (w/o tax). Great dislay, but does lag a bit every now and then while navigating through apps like YouTube and Netflix. Always plays smoothly once a program/video is started. Good range of apps included like YouTube, Netflix, AmazonPrime, Hulu, and some more. Only complaints are that I could not find a way to install new apps (Spotify, for instance) in the system and that the remote is big and old fashioned.

Love this tv .its a sony and for the price you cant beat it highly recommend purchasing if looking to buy a top of the line tv on a budget.

I have had this TV for 5 years now, at first I thought it was a great TV, but not so much now. 4K HDR is useless. I do not get a 4K picture at all. The quality is awful, compared to others of same features. I think it is time to upgrade and maybe move out of the Sony line to get better quality and performance.

This is a great television with an absolutely amazing picture and the only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is due to the lack of Bluetooth compatibility. The T.V. will not connect to any headphones, including Sony brand. It will connect game controllers or keyboards but the inability to connect my headphones is a HUGE disappointment. Sony, you can, and should, do better.

We chose this Sony tv for its value for money sale price and features. We went to the store to pick it up and transported it home ourselves with no problems. The stand was easy to put on, and the installation was super easy too! Best feature is the screen mirroring. LOVE it! I can stream movies and tv series from my phone, tablet and laptop and watch it on the tv! Sooo smart! Day 1, no hassle, no frustration, no buyer's remorse.
