Time to get with the 21st century so made it over to BestBuy TV department. Great service by sharp rep, decided on a Sony 50" xj89 TV. Installed in my ent center no problem, followed up next few days at BestBuy with a Sony soundbar ! Totally happy with service and new equipment. BestBuy is my go to store.

This Sony is great. Nice bright and clear image quality. Love the connectivity and hard coded quick access buttons. Perfect for binge watching in bed. So happy with my purchase. We also have a 65 inch from Sony and this smaller 50 inch is just as good.

We regret to hear that the viewing angle did not meet your expectations. This is definitely not the experience we want you to have with our premium TVs. The best viewing distance depends on the size and the display resolution of the TV. The recommended distance for comfortable viewing depends on the video or program you are watching, the viewing environment, and the physical conditions of the person watching it. When watching the TV from a suitable distance, we recommend looking away from the TV every now and then or try watching it at a different viewing angle.
