It does what other gift cards do. Also works well for people that either don't have a credit or debit card or for those that don't don't trust their information on Sony's servers after their much-publicized security breaches. I gave it only 4 stars because I'd rather have the codes delivered digitally like they used to offer. I'm not sure why you can't get codes that way anymore, but it was a lot more convenient than having to ship or go to the store to pick it up. This makes me less likely to buy these cards as a result.

Perfect gift card for teenagers! Some places only sell $10 or $50 gift cards amount! Best Buy has the $25 which makes perfect as a birthday gift for any teenager!

I paid said amount for the Psn card to use that said amount....I had no problems or issues. So you get what you paid for, that & piece of mind since you didn't have to put your credit card info on ur Psn account to buy stuff :p

These cards are the way to go if you do not want to put your credit info on the PSN network. Very easy to use, just scratch PIN Number off on back of card and enter it into the Playstation Store Redeem codes section.

It’s just a gift card. Bought it to meet the spending threshold on a credit card offer and it worked. Did store pickup and the card was activated like it should be

Sony was hacked into recently - I made sure after the last hacking incident a few years ago that no credit cards of mine are tied to the account anymore. This is the easiest and best way to add money to my account that I've found.

The card worked great with no problems. The card works great as a gift or if you don't want to use your actual card.

It is necessary to have one of these or one of higher value when you need to buy things online. $20 could help you get add on content or during a flash sale on playstation network you can buy several games and content dirt cheap!
