We all know when PSN was hacked, it's always better to get these cards instead but they really should make a $60 card or $30. However it isn't much of an issue.

It does what it is supposed to do, and that is allows you to purchase or give as a gift for a friend to purchase Playstation games.

It is what it is! Its a Sony PS Network gift card. You can buy things on the Sony PS network with it. If you are smart about it, you can figure out how to share it! ;-)

The card wasn’t activated when it came to me in the mail. I had to call the 800 number and get it activated. No other issues with it.

This is a simple way of adding money to ones PlayStation Wallet if a credit card is not accessible, or if you don't trust them with your credit card information. These are one time use cards and could be explained in 3 steps: 1) You pay the desired amount on the card at the register or online, 2 Money gets added to the card, 3) Redeem the scratch off code on the back of the card on your PlayStation account. Not only do those funds allow for purchasing PS3 downloadable content, games, etc. It also allows for purchasing PSP and PS Vita content. Easily a great and easy gift (stocking stuffer!) for a PlayStation gamer.

i wish it wasn't necessary but we are too far gone at this point. what game doesn't require you to put a few extra bux into it via a PSN card.

This is a great product for people that like to buy digital. Me on the other hand prefer physical games and I prefer not to buy dlc. I’m 39 and grew up playing video games. I never had to buy dlc. I either earned it in the game or found a cheat for it. Nowadays video game companies only care about money. I think if we would stop buying the dlc they would stop charging for it and include it in the game.

The card worked, code added $10 to my Playstation account. Great for gift-giving or if you don't want to save your payment info on your PS4

I prefer this over using a credit card, this way if Sony gets hacked again, my personal info is not logged into their network.

Its safer to buy this than store your credit card information on your PSN account. Too many hackers stealing peoples $$$.

This product does exactly what one would expect. Theres no real advantage to using this over a credit/debit card unless you don't have a credit card.
