I bought this card because there was a flash sale on PSN. It's nice that I can upload funds to my account and not have to worry about a breach in their networks. It also helps control spending.

It was convenient to be able to go into the store and purchase the card. Due to all the hacking of credit cards on file, I didn't feel safe entering my cc info into the playstation system.

This is perfect for people who are hard to shop for. Just buy them a points card and they can select and download their own game. This is a physical card and it arrived quickly.
