It's nice to have the option of only buying $10 worth of psn credit - a lot of times, there's s specific game I want, and I don't need $20. So far I have only seen these at best buy.

For my teen, there are times when I just want to reward him for excellent behavior and doing true right thing. Having a card on hand is ideal.
