i received this as a bday gift and it can be used in the Playstation store to be used towards buying a game, game add-ons, a movie/show. I really liked this bday gift!

I want all of my media in a digital format and the PSN helps me achieve that. Although I think if a hard copy of a game is $60 the digital version should be about 10% cheaper.

Sony has great sales for digital games several times throughout the year and PSN has great value. Pick this up, so you pick up a PS+ subscription or to buy digital games.
