I like that you can purchase these cards and use them on the Playstation Network rather then using your personal credit card , it's much safer and limits the spending to a certain amount that you purchase , where if you had used a credit card . Not only is there a chance of someone getting ur personal info but also it's easier for ur kids to make unauthorized purchases, so this card limits that and eliminates that hassles

I love buying these gift cards, because it’s more convenient than buying multiple cards. I’ve never been comfortable using my Credit Card to buy things from Sony after the hack in 2011. However, I still buy a lot of digital games from the PS Store, so by buying $100 cards I can buy a few games and not worry about my PS wallet.

The ten dollar PSN card is great for buying things on Sony's SEN store for you PlayStation 3/4/vita or psp and it much safer then using a credit card. Most of the time I really only need $10 for buying DLC or indy games and those $25 or $50 cards that most places sell make me spend much more then i intended to. The only con is that most places don't seem to sell these any more and you have to go to a best buy if you want them.

I bought this (and a $20 card) on an impulse based on its whimsical artwork and shiny, reflective surface. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to have monetary value for systems I do not possess! Fortunately for me, I knew a 15-year-old boy with a PSVita who was able to make use of it, for which I was rewarded with a hearty "thanks, Dad." Made my day! Especially since this card was only half the cost of the other!

I've always preferred straight dollar value gift cards instead of the points system still used by Nintendo and that was previously used by Xbox. Rather than constantly having to do currency conversions to approximate how much you are spending, with a dollar value you know exactly what you are spending. The cards are made of sturdy material and it is easy to scratch off the coverings to get to the 12 digit code.

Since the PSN is often on the fritz and doesn't allow it's members to "ADD FUNDS" via credit/debit, this is a good alternative method to buying games. Simply buy the card from Amazon.com and enter the code given after purchase into the "Redeem Codes" area on the PSN via PC, PS3 or PSP. I have purchased two already and in my experience the codes were delivered in minutes if not instant!

I prefer to use PSN currency to download games or other PS4 features, I think it's more safe than logging on your credit card or paypal credentials. Using PSN cards is also pretty easy, what you need is just to reveal the code you find on your card after scratched, and redeem it on the appropriate window on the PS store page. You will get the credit instantanously and you are ready to go for your shopping!

I want to keep my PSN account safe. Rather than adding my credit card, I just buy the PSN cards at best buy. Here is the logic and benefits. 1. No credit card on the PSN. Remember when Sony was hacked. 2. No sales tax. 3. You can use best buy certificates towards the cards. 4. You also get best buy points.

I like using a Playstation Network Card instead putting my credit card into Sony's system which has been hacked already. I've used them several times with no problems it's easy to use. Just make sure the pin code is not exposed before buying one. Another thing to consider is using your best buy reward points to purchase it and/or using a coupon (which is harder to do than the past) and you still can take advantage of PSN sales.

Well what can I say, this was a pretty good gift card. I purchased this for my 13 year old son for Christmas and he seemed to like it. Well, as well as any 13 year old likes anything. He said thank you anyway, I think..... Point being it is a gift card so if you are in need of a PlayStation gift card, why not just pick it up at best buy while you are there.
