Enjoyed the simplicity and good looks of the unit. After a few weeks, played my first CD and found that a noticeable audible noise vibration is made from the CD player, which can be overheard at lower volumes, which is a serious bummer.

The replaced equipment had great sound for the entire period prior to the recent purchase of the Sony from Best Buy. The new equipment sound is like the old, but the new technology provides so much versatility.

I've always preferred quality to quantity and found this Sony unit to be as good as units that cost 3 times as much. Daughter also very happy.
