There are different options that allow you to customize your screen to what you are watching. It even has a "live football" mode. I would purchase another one if i had the choice again.

Went to the store and was just going to buy a simple replacement. After viewing the clarity of the Sony, I was blown away that all the fine details were there, especially in the dark areas. AMAZING!! 5 Stars!!

I do not subscribe to cable, instead I have Air Tv with Sling and over the air antenna capability. With the built in apps, and those you can download, I have been very happy.

Ended up reurning it for the samsung KS8500. Samsung looks better, sharper, and gets brighter. I'd recommend the KS8000 or KS8500 if you can get it for the same price.

Just make sure to comb through the settings and set it to your liking before judging it because out of the box it can look a bit odd. But once set, it'll blow your lid off.

The Android remote app is just awesome. You don't need anything when you can use any android device as a TV remote!
