The display video quality is superb. If you have DIRECTV, then I recommend the C61K 4K Genie to get the best quality. As far as sound, the TV is sized for a large room, but the sound is only good for a small room. After spending this much on a TV, I should not need to buy a soundbar.

This tv is what I've been loooking for. Decent enough sounds, but I connected it to a Sony home theater sub woofer combo through arc. HDR is great. The only thing I don't like is the big remote. Other than that perfect tv.

It was easy to see the higher quality picture in the store next to all the other televisions, but we can tell the difference at home in our family room. Outstanding, and can't wait to watch the Cardinals games on this tv!

I mainly use the TV to stream content on Netflix, Hulu and HBO. Sometimes the OS will crash and the TV will reboot automatically, despite having two updates. Not sure why it does that but other than that, the TV is awesome. Great picture, and it goes nicely with my sound bar.

This was my first HD TV purchase and I must say I have no regrets! I did lots of research and the salesmen was very knowledgeable with this product. We are now comfortable hosting parties with our new TV! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Exchanged my new Best Buy 49" Sony, for the 55" in the allotted time frame... No problems, smooth as silk....Now almost ready, to buy the Sony new 70" ... Very loyal to the Sony T.V. brand, can't go wrong IMHO!

It's contrast, color palette and resolution make this tv the nicest one I've seen. The black levels are great and the backlighting doesn't gray out the darks. If you game, pair this with an Xbox One S and you will be set!!

I waited for this TV to go on sale and it worked or very well. The picture is excellent, easy to setup, and the larger screen (replacing a 43" plasma) is very impressive. I am glad I went with Sony over the Samsung.

I purchased this TV after discussing it with a team member at Best Buy. She gave me her insight after I told her what I was looking for. This is the first Sony TV that I have purchased, but the picture still amazes me.

We needed a larger TV for our bedroom. We decided we wanted to attach it to the wall, which was a perfect choice. The picture was so clear. We had the Geek Squad set it up and they were very helpful and professional!

Went from Samsung to Sony because when I had a problem with my less than 4 year old Samsung, their attitude was very "so what, too bad". So Let's see how Sony does.

Upgraded to a bigger t.v. in our bedroom WITH 4K and HDR. Absolutely love it! Will be upgrading our living room t.v., probably within the next 6 months, and will definitely be looking at another Sony - probably a 65"!!!

BUT...what BEST BUY does NOT tell you is that MOST cable companies offer very few 4K channels (like 3-4) as I found out. And they are channels that you don't usually watch, like at all. But I still LOVE my new tv.

I did a lot of research before buying a new TV. I was initially interested in a Samsung, but settled on the Sony based on picture quality. Very happy with this purchase.

And I couldn't be happier. Read many reviews of many television sets and this one by far caught my attention. And the display at Best Buy sold it. Not to mention that the tv has an app that allows you to add KODI

Easy setup and easy instructions. Having some problems with external headphone output. Had an update and now no output. So far not sure what is wrong. Controller is difficult to operate unless you have tiny fingertips.

I recently purchased the Sony 55" 4K TV and the JBL Cinema Sound Bar and so far I can sum it up in one word. Perfection. Best picture and clean sound that gets louder than you would imagine. Amazing technology.

Bought an LG from Best Buy. During the 7-day trial, I became increasingly dissatisfied with the motion rate blur. Returned it and swapped for this Sony. It's been great and purchasing through Best Buy was a pleasure.

I recently wanted to start my 4k experience with this sony tv because I did have a sony previously and this tv was like the 4k version of mine. talking to the sales staff I asked what would be a good 55inch tv for gaming because this was going in my game room. I dabble in gaming in my spare time. and watch sports events. this TV did not meet my expectation. I thought I was missing something. the 4k was not what I expected and appeared weak to me. The blacks looked real bad and the tv colors were real dark. I did a lot of research and returned this tv to bestbuy to try out the Samsung SUHD 55inch with 240 htz and this TV is amazing! exactly what I was expecting and would pay $100 more anyday of the week to get this big a difference in quality.

This has been the best most advanced TV I have ever owned. The major drawback is it came without any owners manual, and to add insult to injury, Sony wanted near $50 for a printed version. The Bestbuy staff have been great, from the sales people to the support staff.
