Excellent image definition, you can connect several device, 4 HDMI inputs.

The is a great tv. It sleek design doesnt look bulky on the wall. The picture is crisp and the blacks dont bleed when the scene is dark in the program your watching. Definatly recommend.

I bought this tv thinking ok I can take it back if I don't feel it's as good as it is in store.. But I live the crisp clear picture I get 4k movies and streaming are amazing recommend if wanting a 4k Tv that will out perform others by far

The best television. I ever had. Took my Samsung back whatever is their next highest end tv that's what I had and it was good but four years later it was pretty much the same TV. So I had talked to the Sony tech there and he told me about this tv. AND it was cheaper plus it mimics my smart phone same apps and all. I have a galaxy, but this allows you to do almost anything

It might just be the cable feed isn't capable of delivering the definition this TV can project, but the picture quality is good, not amazing which you kinda expect for a Ultra HD TV. That said, everything else is awesome, had no issues connecting to the internet and overall set up was super easy.

I purchased this HDTV hoping to somewhat protect myself from future releases that will have advanced features and I believe this one met the criteria. Great picture although you need to change the factory set up a bit to get a picture that meets your personal liking....very easy to do and remember to lookup (internet) to see what others have done/suggest. A feature that a was important to me was having a screen that minimizes glare from the large wall of windows directly across from the TV... It does that wonderfully. On setup everything worked 100% on first try included WiFi connection and external speaker system setup. I got an outstanding price when I purchased during the Holiday Season ($899) and haven't ever seen this model (55" - 850D) cheaper anywhere. I'm enthused 2 months later with this purchase.

TV PRO: This Sony TV has a beautiful, sharp picture, bright colors, excellent resolution. TV CONS: The TV and the remote control have so many features one needs the manual (193 pages - not included and only available online) to utilize them. My PC and TV are in separate rooms; can't use manual while controlling TV. I resorted to printing the whole manual - slow and expensive! COMMENT: This TV is in a different format ratio (16:9) from our old TV (4:3). Thus, the actual viewing area for some programs on the new 55 inch model is actually less than it was on our old 50 inch model. CONFUSION FACTOR: The salesperson said it did not support 3D. The manual devotes a half dozen pages to the 3D function. Fact - ? INSTALLERS: The installers could not have been better. Polite, efficient, pleasant, helpful ... the best!

Excellent picture! When you run a 4K video from YouTube, it provides fantastic breathtaking colors. I especially like the voice remote included. Casting from my computer to the TV works great. I only wish this years model included 3D

It's only been 1 month so I can't vouch for the longevity of this product but I can say that to this point the picture is amazing and simple to operate. The price was also fantastic for the technology of this model. Best price anywhere.

This is the new 850D class tv and it was worth waiting for. Great picture and easy setup once you waited for the inevitable update. Be patient, it will work well its just a long update.

The picture is very good from almost any angle. The controls are very easy to use and access to the internet a breeze. The unit was light and easy for an old man to hang on the wall.

Delivery crew was great...Setup straight forward; packaged well! Picture quality clear w/full color...meets expectations set by Sony...online setup a bit of a pain but doable...however between DIRECTV- Apple TV - etc...not sure I have the need but it's available...very satisfied with purchase

My old TV was 1080p with 120hz. The picture on the new Sony is so much better it's hard to believe they both were produced by the same input. The colors are dramatically improved as well as the clarity and definition on the screen.

This is an excellent TV! Best TV I have ever had the picture quality and and color is great. I installed KODI on it like a Firestick and its great. Wish I had gotten the 65" but maybe next year. So glad I got this instead of a Samsung!

Great picture and easy set up. Bought on sale and was 200.00 off of regular price. Sony quality. Nice wi fi setup and apps. Nice looking stand for TV and it has a little led light that glows under the Sony name when the TV is on.

Great picture excellent for gaming. No issues with this tv

TV was the model I was looking for, so was happy to find one in good condition at the Best Buy Outlet store. I like Sony TVs, so was looking forward to owning this one. The majority of what we do on this TV is play Xbox One and watch streamed content. I can't say I've watched a lot of 4K content on it, but when I have, I've been impressed. I am limiting this TV to 4 stars, because I did read people saying that the interface/Android TV was slow and clunky. I would definitely agree with this and at times had trouble even getting the TV to react to changing inputs/menus; it also would sometimes report some unknown app failure and block the screen until you unplugged the TV However, a firmware update after I bought the TV has vastly improved this (I think it came in Nov or Dec 2017). But overall, I have enjoyed the TV and think the picture is great. Definitely look up online or go to the TV settings and make sure you are updating the firmware!
