I pretty Much Own four Sony Tv's But was Missing the One for my Leaving Room. Went To bestBuy looked around and wanted to try the 4k i hear a lot of good Things about them so i had to see for my self.. brought that Baby home hooked it up and Power it up and my god is it better then u thought.. the Tv its self is so light and thin and the Picture is out of this world i love everything about it. I will upgrade my other 3 tvs Pretty soon!!

I mainly bought this tv on the recommendation of my son. He has one over a year now and always raves about it. Now I can rave to. I love the android system and have Kodi & SlingTV installed. I have it hard wired to my at&t u-verse modem with ethernet cable, works great. Picture is excellent. Slight fault is internal speakers not great but I use my home theater system when watching movies. Great TV you should buy one, no regrets.

Great tv for the price. However, the Android features feel a bit sluggish sometimes. A decent tv for gaming as well. I haven't noticed any significant input lag issue so far.

I did all my homework for the LG or Samsung TV 50 before I went into the store. I had a very knowledgeable salesman who listened to what I was looking for and showed me the tv's mentioned, then proceeded to show me the Sony 55" that was on sale, and how high it was rated. Loved it as soon as I saw it... Everyone comments on the quality of the picture when they come in my house. A wonderful purchase. You won't be sorry with this TV.

Picture quality is awesome! Looking forward to learning more about this tv and maybe, just maybe, buying a 4k hd DVD to see the full picture!!!! (W/Sony's reputation and past exp. I am hopeful this tv will last for many years....unlike our LG that died less than 5 yrs after purchase...and, that's why I do not care for these reviews since they are requested within a couple weeks after purchase...no more LG "ANYTHING" for us!)

The picture is great, the colors are vibrant, the sound is magnificent.I recommend whole heartedly.

I have planned to buy a new 4k HDR TV the past couple months to keep up with the technology offered. My top choices were Sony, Samsung, or LG. I was trying to stay in the range of $1000 or lower. I went with the Sony due to the reviews and trust in the brand. Im sure LG or Samsung would of been just as good of a choice. the 850D Sony 55 in. was a superior choice in the sense it is a true 120hz refresh panel with a good motion rate chip. Android TV was an added bonus due to the wide variety of app. Though the TV doesn't have such a large memory, I wouldnt download loads of apps, because it could slow down the TV perhaps. 4K isn't widely accessible yet, so im not experiencing the resolutions as I have hoped, but overall everything looks great on an up scaled version of 1080P. I do play on a console gaming device and have no issues. although the gaming mode does need to be changed in the advanced setting because the default make the games look yellow. Id reccommend to turn off the "warmth" and that will fix most of the issues. I would go through the rest of the setting to your preference with the game on to compare. last but not least, since it is a smart TV, it can experience some lag due to multiple apps open. I would try to close apps but hitting the back button on the remote rather than just turn off the TV. Also, for PS4 users, if you use an function on the Ps4 which enable the TV and Ps4 to communicate between the HDMI, I would not remmcomend it. This function is only enabled on the Ps4 setting and basically when you turn on your TV on the HDMI channel the Ps4 is set to, the Ps4 will turn on automatically or if you turn on the Ps4 the TV will turn on automatically. My TV would have trouble turning on when I just turned on my Ps4. The TV would have a hovering black bar telling my what HDMI channel it is on and would disappear. also my TV wouldn't recognize my sound bar. So i had to unplug my TV and reset it. So al in all, I wouldn't recommend this Ps4 setting, even though it is a convenient setting. other than that no issues. I purchased this TV in January 2017, only had it for a month or so. I do feel however I could of went with the cheaper model the 700D and been just as happy and saved $300.

Good picture and sound quality. Easy to setup. Staying away from Samsung after capacitors blew.

First time buying a Sony and this one lived up to the hype. Great tv. Great picture and great price.

We recently purchased the Sony TV to replace our 25 yr old Trinitron, which was still working like it did on day 1, so their reliability went a long way with us. Our new TV has a GREAT picture, and we couldn't be happier with it. The down side was that Sony's instructions, and on line Help were not very good, so we struggled through it, and have finally come to a good working relation with the TV, although we can surely upgrade our skills with it as time goes on. I would recommend the TV if you are upgrading your old set...

Our old TV finally gave out after 10 years 2 days before Christmas. After listening to what we were looking for and asking a few questions, our Best Buy Sales person recommended a 55" Sony Bravia. This particular model was on sale which "sealed the sale." The connection to our components (DirecTV, Receiver/speakers, BluRay, etc.) and setup was quick and easy. The picture quality is superb. I highly recommend this model.

I love our new Sony smart tv. It has an awesome picture. The colors are so bright and clear.

This tv is amazing. I did quite a bit of research. Even after that I am still amazed. Connects with all my items well. Has a built in chrome cast and screen mirror. The image is silky smooth. Even the 1080p content and sound are beyond expectations. I was using the same speaker system in my last setup but it still improved. My computer with an hdmi2.0 cable enjoys games on it as well. If I could I'd give it 10 stars.

I went into the best buy looking at 2 different Samsung 4K sets, a 7000 and 8000 series, and ended up leaving with this Sony. I found the picture on the Sony to be warmer and less stark than the Samsung. Since this is the TV primarily viewed by my wife this was important as she is not a fan of the stark images on many sets today. The adjustability within the Sony made it very easy to achieve a picture which worked for her.

Great TV fantastic color , picture is sharp. Easy setup and controls. Love Sony produces.
