I loved my old Sony 36", 300 lb. tube TV (!!!), and couldn't bring myself to replace it until it died, which eventually occurred. Now a new love affair is blooming! Everything about this unit is impressive - picture, contrast, color, features, styling, simplicity of operation and, most of all, its presence in the room - a natural fit.

I have been a loyal Samsung customer for many years. I decided to purchase this Sony after comparing it with a comparable Samsung. I have found the picture quality to be fantastic. My 4K streaming from Netflix is gorgeous. Sony really got this one right. I also had a great Panasonic plasma but this Sony tops it for sure.

This was a great value for a good price, but a few days after we purchased it, I saw that Best Buy offered the same TV for $100 less. So I trotted in and was immediately recognized by the sales associate and I proceeded to get the easiest adjustment I have ever experienced. 1,2,3,done. So the good price became a great price.

After reading reviews of 4K TVs available at Best Buy and consulting with an Best Buy agent, I purchased the Sony 55" UHD TV. I bought it before Thanksgiving and it was delivered Friday after Thanksgiving. This allowed me to prepare the wall mounting kit. The TV looks great and has a great picture and good sound. Very satisfied.

My girlfriend and I were in the market for a new TV when we came across this one in the store. We both decided to go big or go home which ultimately lead to this purchase. Absolutely great display! The picture quality is amazing. Side note... we bought a sound bar and woofer with the TV and it makes for a great home theatre.

The set up was easy and the picture quality is awesome

Love the picture, football looks great. I got little frustrated with quick setup guide. Sony tried going with pictorial guide that's very hard to follow. Overall setup was easy though. Sound is weak, but can't expect much because the TV is very thin and can't accept thicker speakers. You'll definitely need surround or sound bar.

When I first hooked the TV up, the picture was not great. However, I soon switched to the Comcast X1 platform and the picture is incredible. I was skeptical whether it was too early to spend the money on a 4K TV, but I do not have any regrets. The sound from this TV is pretty decent as well. I love the Android system - a huge plus.

For those looking to upgrade to a premium 4K, the Sony 850D series is absolutely stunning. The upscaling X1 Processor makes even my over the air TV look great. Great for everything from the news to sports and gaming. Definitely can't go wrong with this choice!

I had a Pioneer plasma TV for 8 years that still had an excellent picture, but did not have the newest technology. I did not want to buy a new TV, but after talking to Taylor Williams at the Best Buy store near me, I decided to make the change. I am very happy with the Sony TV I purchased. Ok so the only thing I would do differently is.... get the bigger one!!!! 55” is awesome, the 65 is what I should have gotten... but I didn’t listen to the little devil on my shoulder.... that’s ok, in a couple of years the 75 or 85” should be down in price enough to justify a new/redo of the home theatre....
