Excellent picture, and decent sound. Smooth on action movies and HDR video games. I have owned Sony TVs for decades. Only draw back, and hence the 4-star rating, is lack of connectivity - no Bluetooth connection to wireless headphones/speakers. Can overcome with a Bluetooth adapter in the headphone output jack, but those present their own problems.

After checking out everything in the store, I chose this Sony over the equivalent Samsung and vizio models and couldn't be happier. Only drawback is the voice control on the remote doesn't always work/activate. The set itself is great though. Brilliant picture.

This tv is what i have been looking for. We recently bought the vizio 49" and i wasn't so happy with the image and features.. a week later we looked a this Sony x850D and to be honest was a little pricey but it was worthy.. Tv image is great, movies on Netflix is good , for the xbox one s now i can enjoy playing more ....

We needed a new tv and we didn't want to pay all the money for the top of the line Sony, but we did decide to go for the mid grade. And go from a 32 inch to the 55 inch. The picture is amazing. Crisp and sharp. And we got the soundbar to go with it and can now understand the words in the music since we can adjust the bass.

Excellent tv with vivid colors and easy to install.

We wanted a 48-55 inch flat screen that could sit on top of an entertainment console in our living room and provide easy viewing throughout the room. The Sony provides excellent picture quality and was an easy hook up to our existing sound and cable systems.

This TV has a great picture and many functions. This TV holds true to Sony's high standards. The sound is not so great but when TV's get this thin, what do you expect? Plus this is why sound bars have been so popular. I did find a few other TV's with better sound but even then its wasn't great. Sony Quality shines here.

The picture on this tv is incredible for a non-dedicated movie room. The blacks could be better, but the majority of people, myself included likely don't had the room and equipment dedicated for this to be a big issue. In a topical living room / family room, the light pollution will make this hardly noticeable.

Great when watching 4K content. The best tip for people who buy this TV is to try it without any motion enhancement of any kind. Set everything in the middle and see how you like it. I haven't really touched mine after doing this for awhile. ARC for Netflix and Smart Apps audio is a little hard to set up initially but has been bullet proof when using apps.... All in all... great buy!!!

Tv has excellent color and sound, picture is sharo

This TV has the best picture of all flat screen TVs I ever owned. The picture clarity is amazing (so sharp), there is no lag with live sports, and it is nice and bright. The TV is so thin and it sits firmly and securely with the stand that it came with. Android smart TV is excellent also. I highly recommend this TV.

My experience in the store was very good, the young man that helped me was very knowledgeable, listened to what I was looking for. He showed me several televisions in the size I was looking for and I made my decision on the 55" Sony. I love it, the picture is very clear and is the right size for my family room.
