Sony X859D 55 inch TV, with upscaling and Triluminus display, is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I really am impressed with the upscaling and triluminus display. I would recommend this product to everyone. Even Watching older TV shows, it even brings them to the full color enhancement.

We were very pleased to see the picture quality of this TV. Going in to the store, it was not our first choice of brands, but we were quickly won over. Did some research on warranty and customer service, and this SONY won out. Set up was easy. The box is VERY heavy, so be prepared to have help.

I do not find any bleeding of the picture in the corners as I had read in other reviews. This television is without question the best Sony I have owned yet. The resolution and colors are natural and clean with excellent contrast and it has all the inputs and outputs I will need. Great television.

Best Buy is doing much better. For once the sales associate was knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. It has been years since I have talked to someone that knows a product line. The Sony TV I purchased is incredible and fits perfectly onto the wall. Picture is amazing and installation was easy.

OMG! This TV is amazzing I'm so happy I went with this one the picture is superb, I had it installed in my bedroom on the wall and I'm telling you this is truly a great tv at a reasonable price, wish I could get a bigger one 80in for my living room, to replace my vizio 70 in fingers crossed

It took time and patience before making the decision to purchase this TV because there were others I researched also. I am sure this was the best purchase considering the value and quality. I love the picture and the size of the screen. The set up was easy and quick. So far I have no regrets.

Had a 3d plasma and was happy with it. But time marches on and now it's 4k television. Looked at them all and found the sony to have the most realistic picture unlike the exaggerated picture of the rest. It is the closest to plasma only with an even better picture. So far so good. I gave it 4 stars only because nothing is perfect. Some may feel it deserves 5 stars though.

Since the review post only has a picture, I am not sure what model this will appear for. Either way both Tv's are great, but there are big differences and it really depends on your room. Living room- the 850 is great it takes advantage of a brighter room and gives you a better picture from seats that are not directly head on. The 930 gave me a better picture in my "man cave". I sit head on and keep the lights off. Movies and games look better in this scenario with the 930 thanks to the backlight system. In fact Really good. The pictures will be very close between the two then all of a sudden the 930 will give me pictures in shadows I never knew were there. Plus it pumps out some light! There was some clip of a guy in a cave, and when he turned his head and aimed the headlamp at me, it was real and blinding. Not a deal breaker, but if you care, the 930 has 3D and HDR bt.2020. Not 100% positive on that HDR version on the 850, but I would think it does.(some kind of future proofing of wider colors)I compared the two tvs with a two output receiver only because I felt I needed more out of the 850. Best Buy would not accommodate on the comparison and I wanted to see the differences with the same picture side by side. Good luck in the hunt, you might find a deal on an open box 850 missing nothing.

I have a 32" Sony Bravia over 10yrs and has never given me one ounce of a problem. Now that I have the 55" I am in heaven. I cannot believe the quality of the picture on this TV. I will never get any other brand. I am a Sony Bravia for life. Easy to work around and APPS are easy to use.

I really like this TV the pictures very good and I love that it's a smart tv also love the remote control to the TV which lets you talk into it! That's the perfect TV for me and my family if I ever get another TV I'll make sure to get the same one because that's how much I love this TV!!!

This TV does just about everything well. Sports, DVD, regular TV all are excellent on this TV.

We love the picture on this TV and the Android TV component has great features. The computer updates and some of the Smart TV features occasionally makes this a pain though - you wish a TV could just be a TV sometimes - like when it restarts like a computer. I am hopeful that a recent software update has fixed the problem because we actually love the set!

The TV looks good and overall has a very nice picture. The smart apps are nice as well but haven't used them much. The only issue is that it sits by a window and there is a decent amount of reflection that shows through whatever is playing on the TV. We have limited places to put it in the room but I'm sure it would be better if we could move it away from the window.

Best Buy employee told me this was the highest quality, lowest cost flat screen in its class. 3 other employees had chosen to buy this model. Amazed by picture quality. Remote is fast and accurate and easy to use. Had internet hookup to google and Netflix which we don't use much but cool.

I find this tv to be great. It was light and thin and an all around nice looking set. It's android OS isn't clunky or slow and its been very nice to use so far. Display is better than my aging tv and everything looks loads better. I have yet to view 4k content but i doubt i'll be disappointed

I'm not a technical person so I can't go into specifics, but it's a nice tv. I paid just a little under $ 1000.00. Most of the time the color is really nice.. Once in awhile the color will be a little weird -sometimes there is alot of red color or occasionally some green color on some programs. I have dish satellite and my receiver is over 5 years old-Best Buy said I should try to get a new receiver compatible with 4K and that should help. Dish said I qualify for a new upgrade but I would have to take a 2 year contract if I get the receiver-I just don't want to do that now. I haven't had any problems with clouding. I would recommend Best Buy-the 1st TV they brought me, I could tell something was wrong. The quality of the picture looked degraded at times and there was a couple of times, while watching the TV-it would suddenly switch to the You Tube screen for a few seconds-then switch back to TV .When it did it the second time-I called Best Buy. I only had the 1st TV a couple of weeks and they said they would replace it-I was surprised I thought they would come out and go through some settings-but they delivered a new TV the next day. The 2nd TV is a better TV-the quality of the picture is much better. The techs that set up the TV's did a great job.

I had to get a new smart TV because my 7 year old smart TV died, and the improvements in smart TV technology over the last 7 years is astounding. The picture is the sharpest I've ever seen. It especially facilitates Netflix 4K streaming, which totally changes your Netflix viewing experience.

The visual is vibrant and clear. In the showroom you notice the difference. However at home I can't say I truly think the picture quality is worth the extra money over a Vizio. It's definitely better than most side by side, but for families with small kids, that watch cartoons or just HD on cable, the difference is not a big deal. But good quality.

This TV was purchased to replace existing Samsung 46in LCD. I wanted a good entry level 4K . This model has great picture, was easier to hand on my existing gimbal wall mount than the 46in LCD because it was much lighter as well. The remote is well designed but not a talk-to version.
