The picture is great. The remote is easy to use. I like the Netflix and the TV channel buttons, which make switching back and forth from my most used functions quick and easy. I recommend getting the Sony sound bar with it for more theater like sound.

Well, when you stream the 4K UHD with HDR you'll notice the difference, people said the speakers sound wasn't that good but the sound was good enough to my ears!! Hope they designed the remote in much modern way but liked the voice recognition command in it

This tv has been nothing short of amazing! The picture and lighting are absolutely stunning, especially if watching in Ultra HD.

I have had my Sony XBR-55X850D 4K smart tv for about a month. So far I'm very pleased with this television it does everything you need a UHD T.V. to do well. The motion looks fantastic. Very realistic. That is the only way I can describe it. This tv is amazing, the colors are true and beautiful. There are an ample amount inputs from HDMI, Optical, and more which should be ample for most people. This TV also has the "old fashioned" composite inputs (Yellow, Red, and White) that are becoming increasingly rare these days. The Android interface as well as the included applications are all excellent. The microphone on the remote also comes in handy and works well. FWIW I didn't have an issue with the black levels as some others have suggested. Overall for what you get, and HDR helps future proofing, I highly recommend this tv. Also, Android TV is terrific.

SONY COMES THROUGH ONCE AGAIN! We updated from 46" 10 yr old Sony (which still works great by the way ) & are not disappointed to have another more awesome Sony in the family! I am sure it will outweigh our expectations & bring years of enjoyment

Very impressed with the 4K quality. TV does an exceptionally great job of upscaiing Blue Ray discs and standard def content. The streaming services look awesome as well. Did have an issue logging into Netflix. Clearing the cache in the app corected this.

After much research, I narrowed it down to three tv's. With help of Best Buy associates, I selected the Sony model for features, picture,clearly,HDR and price. Worked right out of the box, easy to setup. This was my first Sony and not disappointed.

As usual, this Sony TV works extremely well. I always purchase Sony TVs.

This TV has great picture quality and easy set up. Smart TV is an understatement, there is so much you can do, it's like having my computer at my finger tips. I highly recommend this TV. I'm not a tech person but my son who is absolutely loved this TV.

Great TV to buy who are looking for 4k with HDR. Especially for gaming and to watch sports this TV was awesome. I returned this TV and getting 65" cause 55" was bit small to my living room. I would strongly recommend this TV for great quality picture!

Went to Best Buy expecting to purchase a different TV brand but after talking with the salesman and comparing picture quality in the store we decided on this Sony TV. It was easy to install and is hands down the best picture I've ever seen on a TV.

This is my first Sony tv and I couldn't be happier. I had reviewed it prior to buying. Still I asked the salesman which 55" TV he would buy and he took me directly to this TV and explained what he liked about it. I have found all claims to be true..

I really love how Sony stepped up their game with this model. I'm willing to pay more for something with great quality, picture and sound... So glad I didn't have to settle for an LG or Samsung!

Love this tv. What sealed the deal was when the best buy employee showed me their theater room and i asked what time i was watching. I was already locked in on this tv and the fact that the theater room had and looked so beautiful sold me. Didn't give 5 stars because the tv it's a little slow (nothing too bad).

Love the picture - - free delivery was a added bonus - set up via smartphone did not work nor did the auto connect of sony remote to control cable box. Tried calling Sony assistance and was promised a call back within 48 hours - one week has gone by and no call back. Picture quality 5 stars sony support 0 stars

This is more than we bargained for as a bedroom TV! We purchased this as an afterthought to replace our old heavy boxy bedroom TV, the price was great and the quality is right up there with with my new 65" curved Samsung! Bright clear crisp picture!

This TV has it all! Nothing but props for the Sony product. It was the perfect TV for my budget and room size. All of my friends are envious! Amazing picture when combined with 4K quality input. Also looks quite remarkable with standard blue ray as well.

I seem to have some big rectangular pixel problems flashing on the screen occasionally and I'm not sure if it is a Comcast problem, HDMI cable or the TV. The remote could use some improvements. It would nice to not have to point it directly at the TV to work. Back lighting on the remote would be nice to have too.

- NOTE: Samsung TV cannot run the Sling App if that matters to you. - Great picture quality - UI is responsive - Only issue is that the sling app sometimes fails to load. To solve this, have to 'force stop' this app and then try loading again.

We had looked at this tv a few weeks ago and seriously considered buying then. We already have a Sony Bravia that is three years old and like it. But, when this went on sale for $200 less we came back and purchased. Great value for a great picture.
