I was replacing a 42" Plasma television that we purchased in 2008 that had been professionally set up for the room that it was in. I installed the Sony 55" LED television in the same location and had a perfect picture without a lot of extra set up. This television is an excellent product for the price point and works great with the way that my family views TV. We are cord cutters and use an antenna along with Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBO Now. The fact that we are an Apple household has not hindered our enjoyment of this product either. The TV is android based, but plays nice with our Apple TV box and Xbox One. Unless you are looking to spend thousands of dollars more, I do not think you would be disappointed in this product. We have even streamed a SD Vudu movie and the upconvert made it look great.

I searched for a long time for the right 4K TV, I've owned XBR's in the past and still have one, I also have a Samsung Plasma, the picture rivals anything I've owned or seen ...... till now. Love this TV and would highly recommend!!

Set up was easy pezy. And color was great right out of the box on some picture types. First purchased a Samsung 8000 that I was very disappointed in. Took it back and went with the Sony 850d. Great color quality. Less tweaking.

We LOVE the picture on this set, but not impressed with the sound. Of course with the tv being so slim you have to sacrifice something. There isn't enough bass, we are looking at adding a Bose sound bar and then we will be happy!!

We looked at a LOT of different TVs before settling on this one. The difference between our old one (a Vizio) and this Sony is NIGHT AND DAY! This TV is well worth the money. Amazing color and sound!! Highest recommendations!

Me and my wife just bought a house and this tv will be center of my man cave.the picture quality is insane,l wasn't sure if was big enough for the basement ,a lot of,friends said we should get a 60" but it worked out fine l love it.

Menus are really easy to use and everything is available as easy access the only thing I would say isn't that good but for me it doesn't mater to much is that if you plug in a USB it takes a while to open up the videos or pictures

Picture is really sharp with great colors and the sound is fantastic, just wish easier way to turn on HDR but should only use on programs filmed in HDR otherwise it diminishes picture. Though HDR can be used on any source not so.

Overall great picture, poor sound. I don't own a sound bar, just rely on the tv itself (our room is not too large by any means). However, I now feel like I *need* a soundbar. The background noise and effects are too loud and voices are too soft. I've tried to adjust it as much as possible.

I am glad I got this tv. I researched the different brands before I bought this, and was very impressed when I went to the store with the picture on the display. It is a bit more expensive then other brands, but well worth the price

like the tv - the remote Arrows on remote are way too small - hard to see. Also, finish on remote tends to be flat and stuff sticks to it. I was told tv is 4k and tv would convert 1080 or 720 to 4k. It does not. Disappointed. Sales reps should not tell customers this when it is not true.

After looking at several TVs, we chose this one. The picture and sound are great. The external input cable connecters are on the side, so it is easy to mount without bending the cables. We were very satisfied with this television.

Awesome picture and perfect size. Interactive features are great. Wish it communicated with my iPhone though.

Love the new UHD. Not much filmed in UHD, but it upgrades the current HD. There are some things that need some work, but nothing bad. Some scrolling tickers on NESN or ESPN get a little blurry/fuzzy. There is a live football mode that seems to make it worse so just use the normal settings.

This TV is by far the easiest to use and one of the best screens I have seen other than an OLED. It has all the bells and whistles I was looking for and it was delivered for free. It was easy to set up and very user friendly.

Great picture for the price. Screen colors are not amazing.

THIS TV IS THE BEST THING I COULD BUY. WHEN WATCHING A MOVIE IM LIKE WOW!! THE DETAIL IS SHOWS IN THE MOVIE IS CRAZY. ALSOZ WHEN MY HUSBAND IS WATCHING ONE OF HIS SPORT GAMES IS REALLY GOOD. IM THINKING OF BUYING ANOTHER ONE.

Tv has a nice picture but I wish it had Bluetooth built in for the price. The BB employee told us that it was Bluetooth compatible so I bought wireless Bluetooth headphones and I went to set it up and there was no way to connect headset without buying an additional piece of equipment.

I needed a new TV. I wanted to stay under $1,000. But when I saw this TV, it may have been a little more than what I wanted to spend, I had to have it. It has been even better at home. Easy set-up and connection to my WiFi.

This TV is great, even out of the box with no calibration I get a good picture. The Android TV software is a lot better than the Samsung Smart TV software on my old Samsung TV. Setup was a breeze and 4k movies look great!!
