The sharpe picture and color is outstanding. Sound is very good. I made a great purchase in the 4K Sony 55" TV.

I went into Best Buy planning to buy a Samsung TV but the sales rep made me look at this Sony TV as well. It's great quality and costs a little less than the equivalent Samsung. Set up was extremely easy. I added a soundbar and the integration is really nice. The soundbar automatically changes input when you turn on the TV. I'm very happy with my TV and soundbar.

I have always bought into the Sony Bravia brand (TV, Blu-ray, 7.2 receiver). Then my 46" Sony Bravia LCD TV (from Costco) died after 6.5 years of average use. That seemed premature but I decided maybe it was a fluke. I then bought this 55" 850D 2016 model. After 5 days of use, it has rebooted itself three times in the middle of a movie. It seems related to the Android TV usage. The sessions in which I never invoked the Smart system worked flawlessly. But if I invoked the Android TV system even just to play with settings or watch Netflix it would cause a reboot to occur an hour or two later. Weird. And a deal breaker. Online forums indicates that this was a problem to some degree with last year's model as well. One of the first things that did was make sure that the Android software was update and all of the Apps were up to date. So that wasn't the issue or the solution. t really wanted this TV to work and it is flawless and a beautiful picture right out of the box, but who wants a TV that randomly reboots.. I exchanged it for the roughly equivalent Samsung KS8000. I haven't had any issues with the Samsung so far (knocking on wood).

I love this tv. I have always been a Sony fan, so I went with Sony again when my old one broke. Tthat one was only 7 years old, so I hope this one lasts longer. I had the geek squad come and set it up, which was the smartest part of my decision, I think. It was definitely worth the fee. The only difficulty I have had so far is the remote control. Some of the buttons (arrow buttons esp) are in an awkward position. And the home, back, action, discover buttons are not self explanatory so I usually end up pressing several before I figure out which one I needed.

The tv provides a bright beautiful photo. There are plenty of inputs and loaded with options. It is a little bit on the expensive side but looks great
