When one of my televisions had died, plans changed to looking for a new TV. I'm admittedly a Sony Fan boy. I had my eyes on the smaller screen version. When my wife and kids were drawn to the screen images of the 55. I got the okay to make the purchase and couldn't be happier. Finally picked up the ps4 pro. The 4k resolution is phenomenal.

Was choosing between the 55" and 65" for a movie zone in a bonus room, and was concerned the 55" might be too small. But the clarity of the picture succeeds in carrying it across the room. Paired with a sound bar, this is great in multi tasking as our sports and theater Maxine. Great value.

Picture and interface surpass sound

I also like the interface for making network selections, and appreciate having a headphone jack. But, the weak rear-facing speakers are pathetic, and audio control options for external speakers are very limited. As a result, I may never enjoy the overall viewing and listening experience as much as I'd hoped. I would recommend this TV, but with reservations.
