The colors are vibrant and the images are very clear.

Great tv, but dims down when scenes change. But overall it's ok tv

I'm tickled with this product. Works great, and I live the 3D!

Bought the first one and it had 2 dead pixels, returned it within the next day to exchange it for the same tv. Guess what.......the second one also had a dead pixel right in the middle. So I returned it. No Best buy's fault. They actually said to me if you like will open one in the store to see if it had dead pixels. BestBuy went above and beyond to please me and thank you. But enough is enough disappointed with Sony's new 2015 line of tv's

Best thing I could thought of with quality picture.

Tv does not have a good picture when watching sports or action movies. You can see the pixels around objects and when there is fast movement it objects are blurry.

TV keeps flickering even after all the auto light features are turned off

this tv has been a real nice tv. however I did not receive any reward points for this purchase. I am still waiting and wandering why there were no points added to my rewards card. please let me no why i did not get any reward points. thank you for any info you might send me

I love this TV! The 3D function is a waste because there isn’t enough 3D media out there, but that isn’t the tv’s fault. It works great with the glasses

This has been a great TV...a few software updates require the base remote (which is fine and easy), but it starts back up at the same channel where you left off. it starts and turns off quickly. I would buy another one.

I got this Sony led because I a gamer and I was getting concerned about Burn in with my budget 2014 Samsung plasma and my 2007 my pioneer elite plasma . motion blur it still exists I played DBZ Xenoverse for the ps4 as a character moves in a fast motion and notice two characters instead of one character . Neither of My 2007, nor my 2015 plasma No Problem whatsoever Viewing angles you have to look at the Led directly Across from the center. Conclusion almost a decade later and I said the same thing LED LCD is useless compared to plasma and Oled after my purchase with a 800 Sony I went to the store and purchase a 80 72O led An 80 LED can do the same as a 800 sony led.

lot of money 800+ did not get any 3-D glasses.. had difficulty adjusting colors & other settings, but came out well 94850)

Totally enjoying this TV. Love the apps. Could not have asked for a better TV. Doesn't hurt that I got it at a FANTASTIC deal!

This TV has 120hz input in the back, one of only a few at this price point. Fantastic TV all around and easy to wall mount.

I've only had the TV for a couple of months. I have not found anything negative to say about the Sony KDL55W800 TV.

I have purchased this TV before so when I needed another unit for another room, the choice was easy.

I am writing two months after purchase and I am really enjoying this TV! Picture quality is fantastic for me after adjusting the settings to remove the "soap opera" effect. It was extremely easy to set up and connect to my Sony Home theater Blu-ray System (which sounds great- better than any Samsung theater IMO) that I've owned for many years and the TV integrates with it very well. I rarely write reviews for electronics but for such a great TV at a great price- I felt compelled. I feel like I got my money's worth and that is always a good feeling after shelling out hundred's of dollars for a want rather than a need! This TV will definetely hold me over until OLED TV's become more affordable. This is my first Smart TV and I am finding that the user interface is very nice and responds quickly. It is a much wanted upgrade from using the smart capabilities on my blu-ray system. I also only need one remote now to control the TV and Blu-ray System! I like the fact that there is functionality to browse Netflix on my iPad and have the movie/show stream through the TV; it is much more fun and convenient to use the Netflix app on the iPad than the Sony app for browsing but I didn't dislike the Sony app- and it's important to note that the TV and not the iPad is streaming the content- I really do just use the iPad for browsing content I want to watch on the television. The Amazon Video app works very well also. I've also streamed music video's, TED Talks, and YouTube video's without any issues. I didn't think I was missing out on having a smart TV until I began streaming all of this content on my new Sony. The control feels and looks cheap and 3-D glasses are not included but I found inexpensive samsung glasses that are available for purchase at Best Buy and work with a variety of other brands, so don't let the exclusion of 3-D glasses deter you from purchasing this set. So far, I've only watched Gravity in 3-D and it really does make a difference in experiencing the film. I found that there is a "soap opera" effect that is turned on with 3-D viewing but I feel that it is necessary in order for the 3-D to work properly. I find the viewing angles to be great and see very minimal color and picture loss if I am watching tv from far left. I've read reviews that mention poor viewing angles but I haven't come across this issue. On a side note, I've previously owned Samsung TV's. With the first I did not have a good experience with build quality. Second Samsung was a hand me down and it was nice but I didn't like the integration (or lack thereof) with my Sony Home Theater Blu ray system- that tv was also not "smart". From here on out I believe I will be loyal to Sony for future TV and home theater purchases.
