    Returned tv for an exchange but left the power cord at home.so i paid the 15 dollar fee thinking i was getting an exchange tv .After all paperwork done on the return they could not find the model i was exchanging for there inventory was wrong.If i would have know that I would have returned home and got the power cord.Brought it in the next morning as i was picking up a tv I ordered on line and was told the 15 dollars is not refundable on the cord so i just gave them the cord and my 15 dollars.ps the tv I returned was ok just to small.

    The TV stopped working after two weeks. I have to wait one week to get it fixed. The Geek Squad did not seem to really care after I tried to set up a repair.

    Stopped working in less than 30 days

    Purchased television on 1/15/2017 and on 2/12/2017 it stopped working. It will not power on and after many hours on the phone with tech support I'm now waiting on a return call from warranty. Too bad I can't take it take to store but it's over 15 days. Don't buy unless you want a very useless television that has internal problems.

    Purchased this TV, immediately had issues with the screen flickering. Was told it was because the device was plugged into a surge protector and not an outlet. I plugged directly into the outlet, but the flickering continued. Returned for the same TV, same issues. Returned and will likely not purchase another Sony product. Best Buy staff was helpful for both returns.

    I made this purchase excited to upgrade what I had, needless to say I'm using my old tv again. This Sony TV had horrible clarity and was not put together well. It had a ripple at the top center of the screen that then rippled through the entire screen. Bad purchase!! Would not recommend to anyone.

    Save your time and energy. Worst TV ever. Best Buy's 15 day return policy doesn't help the situation either. Now I'm stuck with a defective tv and st the mercy of Sony's customer relation team to approve my refund. Not worth your time

    you sent me defective TV - color red/green/yellow, contrast poor.. this item worse then anything I could imagine! I looks older then my old sony bravia, which I had before for 8 years!

    The Best Option for the Budget Conscious

    I sold TVs for over ten years and have kept up with the latest developments and technologies since then. Much has changed in the industry but I think Sony is the company with the best quality product at this time. The Chinese brands (and some of the old Japanese Brands have been bought by the Chinese) are not worth the money in spite of their lower price. The Korean brands are good but not as good (especially not as reliable) as Sony. I think 4K (and especially 4K "upconversion") is essentially a gimmick not worth the money. HDR gives a slight improvement for those willing to pay the early adopter price for this. The difference between brands is more dramatic than the difference in picture quality with or without HDR. OLED is great for those who can afford it. For the budget conscious, I think this TV cannot be beaten. The picture is stunningly good and the TV works well with my audio gear. Some brands have had problems with the audio outputs on their TVs but the optical output from this one that I use for its Wi-Fi applications works perfectly. I was able to get this TV on sale for $499 and perhaps Best Buy will offer a similar (or better) sale in the near future since this model is one being cleared out since it has neither 4K nor HDR.
