Sony, 55 inch, clearmotion 240 and 1080p. Don't be fooled by the Clear Motion 240, its useless. If you don't watch sport then it should be fine but its a 60hz rated TV. Also, the voices were off by a small margin but I noticed it and it drove me insane. I took the TV back because I knew this TV would drive me crazy.. Picture was good but you do get what you pay for.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV to mainly play PS4 on and sometimes watch TV. this TV is not of great quality and would be more suitable for a younger kid just needing a larger TV to game on that would not notice the blur and high Lag. even watching regular TV the picture quality is very low. the lines on the picture of the manufactures box is similar to the experience I had. the TV's motion blur definitely gave me a headache. I was told by a best buy associate that it was a great TV to game on and that information was totally not supported. if your just wanting a VERY CHEAP TV that does not have a great quality at all then this is your TV.. Good Luck.. if you are looking for quality don't waste your money. I save more money and buy a better model.. as for me I returned the next day and bought the Samsung KS8000 series, it was quite a bit more but well worth the money..

I got it on sale for $379.99 which is a bargain in my opinion. Before I had the 55" sharp tv with roku. I liked that tv but had a power issue and made me nervous. This Sony is solid! Probably a little outdated I'd say but the xr240 refresh rate is amazing. I'm in love with my Sony :).

But the picture is not sharp and crisp like I expected with setting changed to 1080. I has panasonic 50" 720 plasma before which had much better and sharper picture. Anyone has setting suggestions?

Brilliant picture but had electrical issues

Within the first week, we went to turn TV on and wouldn't do anything. No lights, nothing. Had to unplug and it worked fine. A few days later it did the same thing so I contacted Sony and they suggested I unplug from my surge protector and directly into the wall. Worked fine for another week then one morning I woke up, tried to turn it on and same thing happened. Called Sony again, this time I was referred to tier 2 technical support. The man says he thinks its has a bad board and asked how long I had had it, 14 days, he said I should return it back to the store which I did. Had no problems returning it to BestBuy and customer service was very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Horrible TV

On the third time, the left hand side is completely blurred and the TV is unusable. However, because it is 32 days after I bought the defective product, I cannot return it. I have now been on the phone with customer service for over an hour and do not have a replacement.

Conponent/RCA connections stick straight back not available at bottom. Does not recognize some USBs for viewing pictures. No way to add applications. Linux/Unix based OS not adroid, no app store(not very smart tv) Just buy a non smart tv and get a Roku. Very regretful purchase. Sony brand has fallen off as I also have a Sony cellular phone that has no indication that it was produced by a company that has around a century of experience in consumer electronics.

Iv been on the phone with sony and get the unplug and reboot b.s. . It freezes up and is painfully slow. Also switches the speaker output at random. JUNK
