Held up many hours

But like much electronics, it’s life ends quickly, unlike my Plasma TV that still is working and running fine. Time for a new upgrade.

Very disappointing

However, after using it for 45 days I am truly disappointed that I spent this much money on a TV that has problems. About once every 3-4 days the TV screen just goes black. The only solution turns out to be a hard reset (unplugging from wall for 1 minute). When one goes to the expense of buying a brand that is supposed to be among the "best" - this is truly not acceptable. Wish I had never bought this television.

Waste of money and time
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had numerous issues wuthnthe software. Netflix makes a popping npise when streaming 4k content. Inputs nallmeent black and had to reset tv. Bluetooth touchpad wouldn't even pair after reset and connected to a 2.4 ghz network . And the picture quality even when calibrated is average at best. The android OS is buggy and needs to be fixed.

Has "Light Bleed" but better than Samsung
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After returning two Samsung UN55JS7000F - 55" TV's for horrible "Light Bleeding" with the darks, I gave this Sony a try. First two weeks were great, has amazing colors and 4K content looks amazing. Menu and controller function are OK. Then week three set in and "Light bleeding" appeared. I don't know what it is with these 4K 2015 TV's but they all seem to have this horrible problem.

Horrible. Do not buy....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Android system uses some of your TV's processing power that should be utilized for upconverting your 1080 HD content to 4K. This particular TV does not upconvert content well. The netflix app is not currently available on the set, and thus a 4K library that's limited becomes even more limited. The trilumunos color pallet does not look natural. We still own a 6 year old Sony XBR 32 inch that looks and still works phenomenal. But on this TV Sony dropped the ball. Within 24 hours I started having software errors and had to return the TV. I decided to purchase a Samsung nano crystal SUHD TV and its performing outstanding compared to this set. If you are dropping the cash for a 4K set this year save your money and do not purchase this set. The SUHDs from Samsung are far superior, and I'm a Sony guy till today.

The colors and clarity are amazing. It's an awesome 4K television that fits perfectly above our fireplace. Great picture for the sports enthusiasts!

Could update after better hdmi

However I will buy the recommended cords as opposed to the ones from the cable company and the rocket fish I've had since 2009. I'm saying yes I'd recommend on the assumption the cables will make it better and maybe the Comcast guy can make it better too

Not so happy

I had returned it for the same model sad to say after programming it was even worse then the first..so not happy with geek squad or Best Buy

Not very happy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony was delivered Saturday morning after spending all afternoon trying to get a picture I was ready to take back Saturday night! The sound is very poor so if you are hard of hearing do not purchase this TV and my hearing is fine! Also what really irks me is the sound does not match people speaking on the television, I am ready to take back and get the Samsung I went in to buy in the first place but was talked in to getting this set and of course it was more expensive......."VERY UPSET" Also on another note you would think Sony could afford an instruction guide.

HDMI Inputs do not work

The replacement TV has the same issue. Also purchased a new Sony receiver for the ARC connection to my surround sound system again does not work. Sony support only recommendation was to replace my HDMI cables which I did with the Monster 4K cables at the time of purchase. I am going to return this unit for a Samsung.
