this is my first 4k TV and so far so gook, great sound great image haven't had any issues... I recently bought a vizio and every time I use Netflix it shuts off , which is shy I went back to Sony and love it... still need to try the 3D feature

Bought this TV after our LG television crashed after only 18 months. This Sony has much better picture and easy to use programs, etc. Perhaps we paid a little more for the Sony name, but we got a tremendous price from Best Buy so we are happy.

At first I wasn't impressed with the picture, HD looked pretty much the same as my old tv. But I was watching an HD program and when the guy turned his hand over you could see his finger prints!!

The new Sony 55 inch 4k tv is excellent. The picture quality is very real. There are many bells and whistle on this unit so you will need to spend the time getting to know it. Overall, very satisfied.

We spent a long time researching and checking out tvs before making this purchase. We actually tried three other tvs before this one including Lg and a Sony tv that was supposed to be a few steps up from this one and none compare! Virtually. I jitter on the screen. Samsung sure makes an excellent product!

We are very pleased with the TV. We tried the 65 inch and it was too big for us. Best Buy exchanged it with a smile - pleasant experience. We have it on the vivid setting and did some adjustments using another person's review. It is easy to operate, but wish we had a paper copy of the manual for guidance.

This TV replaced our beloved Panasonic plasma TV. The LCDs are just different and the picture quality depends a great deal on the signal received. Some channels look fabulous and others are so full of sparkles harsh light that you can't watch it for long. Most all 4k content looks great. Wish they still made plasmas.

I was initially concerned because the picture seemed a little dull. But once I modified the settings, I was really happy with the vivid colors and crispness. I bought a sound bar to up the sound quality (typical of all tvs). Now I couldn't be more pleased. I bought an open box deal and got a great value.

very nice tv with an above average picture ., just can't wait for 4k broadcast . had done more research on lg & Samsung but because we own a 46" sony & at the sales associates recommendation we got this tv .

This was my first large TV, can't be more happy with my purchase. Looks fantastic on my wall. Extremely great for games, the sound quality is amazing and a lot of the apps are fantastic as well.

The sony tv has a great picture and remote. However, I haven't been real pleased with the wi-fi connection, although it could be my router location. I have had to reconnect to the wi-fi 3 three times-once I had to unplug the tv! But I guess that's just the way technology is today-they try to do too much.

I love this TV. I walked in to buy a Samsung curved .. but changed my mind in a minute I saw this TV. The upscaling is great. I wish android comes out with lot more apps for the TV ! thats something its still lacking when it comes to TV OS.

Have always had awesome products from Sony and our 11 year old Sony Wega TV was over due for an upgrade! It is still in use, just not our main unit. Love the 4K Smart tv. Learning curve, but I know I'm making it more difficult than it is. Definently recommend adding a sound bar for the best experience.

Good display performance, I like the AndroidTV OS compared to many of the other TV makers home brew stuff. I do with that the input and TV controls were slightly less dependent on the AndroidTV OS. It seems like that causes a bit of unnecessary lag in changing inputs and such that could be avoided by either keeping it separate or giving a bit more hardware resources to run the OS. For the price(after the initial drop to the $1600ish mark) feature set is comparable to other top tier brands. Full array back-lighting would be a worth-while upgrade for anyone in the market sometimes the dark scenes get a little too dark on the people in focus, FALD would combat that a bit better than the edge dimming this set provides.

Look at many new models Sony had one of the finest pictures the colors are magnificent so clear and vivid seems like it teal. Blu ray DVDs awesome. Would add a sound bar to get the full effect.

After tweaking the picture settings just a little, which entails turning most enhancements off, this TV can display a very natural-looking picture. If you're looking for a TV to make things "POP!", this may not be the best choice for you. But if you want the picture to be presented as it is, this could be the one.

Very good tv but not quite as good a picture as my 2011 LG (which went out). Set up (by Geek Squad) was very good. This tv overall is very good and Sony has such good name..that is why I went with it.

Great TV the Android TV part is so seamless with netflixand Amazon. Casting from my phone and desktop are easy and work flawlessly. I have direct TV and the picture is perfectly clear and sharp. 4K on Amazon and Netflix is so awesome I hate to watch anything else. If you need a TV this is top notch

I don't normally do reviews but this is a must. 4k is every bit worth it. Sony definely hit a homerun with their upscale from 1080p. Sports broadcasts are out of this world with Sony and movement has no delay. You have to buy this product.

I have spent one hour and fifteen minutes on the phone and have talked to eight people to get a copy of the protection plan I bought with the TV and still haven't succeeded! If their service reflects what I'm going through I wouldn't recommend this protection plan to my worst enemy. When I bought the TV and the protection plan I was told I would receive a copy of the plan by e-mail, that is all I've been trying to do with the eight people I've talked to with no results. I'm now on hold for another 10 minutes! Almost 90 minutes and counting! I will say customer service and employees at the Mooresville store were outstanding, it is the online service that needs attention.
