I noticed the picture quality as soon as we looked at the models on display. It is has a very sharp picture. I can even tell when the show was filmed inside or outside. Unfortunately, my husband has an eye disease that interferes with his making such distinctions. All in all, I really like the TV!

Picture is great, wish the sleep timer were more convenient. I really dislike that you have to exit watching TV to set the timer. Samsung's sleep timer is much better. I am getting used to the Sony TV 850C and picked it over the Samsung JS8500 which I could not justify cost given the changes to the 2016 sets.

bought this TV to replace a 50" plasma TV so definitely saw a difference. It is not as hot and much thinner. One of the selling features was the 4K but that point has been disappointing as it is not really a feature that we can receive in the home. If you want that quality of picture, you have to go to the store.

We choose to buy our tv's at Best Buy because of the selection, the service and the return policy. Another major competitor will only give store credit and when spending $1K plus, that is not enticing! The TV we purchased is amazing!!! Great picture with very rich color as well as great sound!

The picture on the 55" SONY 4K is absolutely amazing. Incredible detail, vibrant colors. With the limited border, it is ALL picture.

I really gotta say for the sale price of 1100 well worth it. The tv is one of the best tvs in its price rang.

Excellent TV and the picture quality is excellent. The only thing Sony could have done better is write there manual to the exact TV model purchased. The manual left a lot to be desired and in that regard Panasonic and Samsung do a much better job. But in the end it is the TV and that is excellent.

never heard of 4k before, the salesman really sold me on this entertainment item. Hey, the picture is so clear compared to 1080. great job Best Buy.......:)

This Tv is very well made. The picture is clear and beautiful. The best on the market within the budget. Because it run with android so It might has a little issue every once in a while but nothing serious. All in all it's worth every penny

The blacks are really black, which provides a beautiful contrast with full colors. The picture clarity is remarkable. When setting it up, I discovered that it has 3D capability (a non-publicized feature)...way cool. Only problem is not being able to get the appropriate 3D glasses (no inventory anywhere).

My wife and I are very happy with the Sony. I enjoy watching football on it, while she really enjoys movies. We are very pleased with the whole experience with the TV and with Best Buy.

Easy set up, great picture. Haven't tried 3d. No Netflix ap yet. Says it is coming. Would have liked 1 more Hdmi slot. Unable to us arc unless I upgrade my sound bar. Overall happy with it

Bought this TV one week ago and so far absolutely love it. Picture is really clear and crisp, color is perfect and android interface is awesome. Came with two remotes one has a microphone button that lets you voice command the tv. The 4K picture is far better than anything I had hoped for.

I went To the Best Buy store to get a Samsung TV, after speaking with 3 different sales associate in three different Best Buy store I end up buying the Sony that has much more feature for a great price, Samsung with the same features will cost double the amount that I paid for the Sony one.

I have had this tv for a month now. I am very pleased with it, especially the 4k upscaling. every source looks as good as you could possibly expect it to. sometimes its even hard to tell what if its 1080 or 4k. its that good. Settings take a while to get it how you like it but its worth it.

Great looking tv, love the remote and its Netflix button, runs a lot cooler than my x 42" Samsung tv, only down side I've had is there is a little lag, but not for long. Great picture.

This TV does so very much, I am still learning! An XBR is after all an XBR! A real cut above the rest!!!!!! It is still possible to get what you pay for, if you really desire to have the really good stuff. At least I believe so! That is my belief and I am sticking to it! Best to you all!

This TV looks great on the wall. I really like the thin bezel around it compared to other TV's I have seen, it almost disappears. The picture is fantastic I would of given it 5 stars but 2 times now for some reason I have had to unplug the TV and re boot it to get it to work, after that all is great.

Investing in a new tv made me nervous. However, I'm thoroughly pleased with the performance of the Sony 55X850C, from the picture to the software. I love the investment I made, and look forward to what Sony does in the future.

Colors are great. Had issues calibrating it when I first got it because the picture was dark. Tried everything online, and still could not get it right. So I spoke to a Best Buy employee and he told me to reset it to factory settings, and I never had any issues since then and the TV is beyond awesome
