i bought this Sony TV for my family room after doing a lot of online research. Additionally, all of the Best Buy employees said this was the TV they would buy for their own home. Set up was easy, the picture is outstanding, and it looks great with a thin bezel.

The tv looks great, and works well for the most part. Several times I've had to re-do the setup because of glitches, this seems to fix issues. Hopefully that will be cleaned up in future updates. Also the response time can be slow ( kind of like a computer that is hung up).

Would give it a 5 star but my only knock on it is sometimes when switching inputs the tv doesn't show a picture or its kinda delayed. The picture quality is the best I've seen and I'm coming from a plasma tv. Thin and light and tons of inputs for any components you may have.

The picture on this TV is as vivid as I have seen thus far in any model in this price range. I am very satisfied with this purchase and look forward to many hours of watching sports and movies that make me feel that I'm there live in a stadium or movie house!

Picture and tv operation is good. The instructions to set up the tv suck. There is no other way to say it. It is almost impossible for a normal person to set up this tv.

I am totally pleased with the image quality as well as sound quality of this new television. It was easy to set up with clear step by step instructions from Sony.

Has great picture and so many apps for a T. V., it is greatly enjoyed. Am loving all the apps pre installed gives me ease to access them. I enjoy that it has bluetooth also and i can use my headphones to not disturb anyone. It sounds great with my sound bar.

I needed a tv that would perform well for games and action style movies. For the price, this has been a very good tv. Games look great but I did notice a small amount of distortion using Hulu to watch arrow and flash (though I am unsure if this is due to Hulu or the tv).

In addition to having an excellent picture, the integrated Android TV functions on this set are robust and easy to use. With technology like this, we're fast approaching the point where you won't need any external peripheral devices to enjoy your TV viewing.

I have no complaints at all this TV is great it has an excellent picture with great sound. he extras like the crackle, Netflix, Yutube etc. are the cherry on top.

Big Sony fan and this TV doesn’t disappoint. I really like the interactive TV menu and easy setup. The picture quality is beautiful and can’t wait for more 4K compatible programming to become available to really get the full benefits from the unit.

Size is perfect for my home, great picture quality. Only problem is that it periodically while watching TV switch the screen to 'crackle' but I can hit the TV button and it goes back. The sound stays on. Just very weird and not sure if it is my wifi or the TV tilt or what.

This TV is fantastic even though there are not Ultra HD programming, it is a much better picture then my old 1080P TV. Looking forward to seeing its true potential when 2160p is actually broadcasted.

Right out of the box I knew I bought the right TV. The picture is simply amazing, it is so vivid and clear throughout the color spectrum. I used to own Samsung only, this TV has changed me back to Sony!

We had another HDTV that was in good condition but for the latest graphics on video games it really did not do the trick. This TV is awesome for that purpose. And for every other quality you would want in a tv it excelled. So happy we purchased this unit!!!

Went into the store to get a Samsung - but ended up getting this one. We are very pleased with the picture. It does take a long time to get all the downloads completed when first setting up the tv.

Sony has by far the best quality picture and sound, I could not be happier with this product. it is in my opinion, to have the highest quality with an average pricetag. the picture is phenomenal and the sound is superior. i would highly recommend this tv!

When I went to buy a new 4K TV, I knew from past experience that I wanted a Sony. My salesman was very informative and really went out of his way to make sure everything would be ready the day of delivery. I chose to have the Geek Squad do the installation to be sure that my Bang and Olufsen amplifier could be integrated. Geek Squad called the day before with a delivery window, and called again on delivery day with a very accurate time of delivery. The Geek Squad tech was friendly and quite knowledgeable and made sure all components were fully functional before leaving--BluRay, Apple TV, and amplifier. He also set up the included IR devices. The TV is excellent! But, there is presently a lack of content to maximize the viewing experience. My cable company can only muster up 720p resolution, but streaming by Amazon and NetFlix lets me see what 4K really looks like.

This tv was amazing when I first purchased it, after downloading the firmware that was released on 11/24/15 everything went downhill. After downloading the latest firmware, a notification on the bottom left of the screen displays "wide mode:full", and it pops on and off every 10-15 seconds. And worst of all, the tv no longer displays 3d content, you can still see the rendered picture, but even when you put on the 3d glasses that all you can see, a rendered picture.After contacting sony, the agent that I spoke with seemed completely clueless. He claimed he had never heard of this problem before. I told him to check the sonys official forum, and multiple users have claimed to have the same problem as me. He put me on a long hold so he could speak with one of the techs. once he got back he basically said the techs are aware of the issue, and theyre working on it. So far nothing has been done, the notification still keeps on popping on and off, and I still can't view 3d content.

So far so good. Really nice smart tv features and the picture is very nice. Looking forward to the availability of 4K content as there is not much out there at this point. When it is, I'll be ready.
