Considered buying the comparable Samsung for less $$$, I'm sure glad I went with the Sony. Hands down best in its class.

This is an amazing set. Pictures are true to life. I watch movie and play video games a lot, the image quality of Sony is good for me. However, android system is a bit laggy and controller sensor is slow.

This is a very good looking and an extraordinary TV. It enhances everything you watch on it , deliver rich colors and clarity . Watching 4K programs is breathtaking. I love my TV . Highly recommended :)

I was looking to replace my very old DLP TV with a 4K unit. Got many recommendations to go with LG and those were very good. Due to price of Sony products being so much in the past, I did not even consider them eventhough I have owned many great Sony products. I was shown this TV for comparison with LG and it was really nice. They had a very nice discount so I went with it and I am really glad I did. The only thing that is a MINOR issue is the Android app icons are somewhat scattered in the interface but you learn to find things. I am still finding things it can do. It is really nice unit.

If your looking for a good 4K TV this is one to get if your a fan of Sony. The only downfall is Android TV is a little clunky for getting around. Other then that the picture quality and upscaling is really good!

Set-up was fairly simple but clarity was and still is an issue. Accompanying instructions were essentially worthless. Upon download of suggested update, a volume glitch developed that has persisted to this day.

This works very well for the size of our room. It replaces a 32" tube TV that was a monster - weighed over 100 lbs. The picture quality is superb and paired with a wall mount really opens the room up!

It's hard to beat a Sony on quality & picture. Our space limited us to a 55" TV. The Sony XBR55X850C 4K Ultra HD TV lived up to its ratings. If it's lacking anywhere, it would be on audio capability.

The set up was simple and the initial startup was very easy. The quality of the picture was more than what I expected. Would recommend this to everyone

Sony was always at the forefront in tv with their technology , since they invented 4K. Straight out of the box worked for me. Price comparison was better than Samsung & LG. You get more for you buck.

Excellent TV, FYI only Problem is Comcast isn't yet displaying channels in 4K. And Comcast had to change my cable box just to be able to view cable channels. TV has fabulous picture and simple to use remote.

awesome 4k tv, i did a lot of research before i bought this Sony 850c, and glad i brought this one home ive had it now for 1 month, excellent picture and best 4k tv at this price range. no 3d glasses included

After bad experiences with SAMSUNG TV's (I owned 3 which had capacitor and T-Com problems) I decided to change to SONY. I purchased a 55" 4K SONY TV and so far I am very pleased with it. Although is it early to say the reliability of my SONY TV is better than SAMSUNG, overall customer ratings indicate that I had made the correct decision when changing brands.

This television is one of the best that we have had. The ease of use is something that stands out to me. Love that we are able to watch Netflix and Amazon prime movies with the touch of a button.

Very good picture! Perfect size & the little stand it comes fits under the TV, its small but nice. I bought Sony soundbar which made the sound even better!

Great picture but of course 4k is limited. TV does freeze up on occasion but new updates to system happen often from Sony

Great TV amazing picture but it loses connection with WiFi often and I can not get the picture in picture or 3D to work

This is a wonderful TV but it proved too small for our living room so we exchanged it for the same model--but in a 65" set. We are very pleased with the picture. Makes a wonderful home theater setup.

Great picture, great size. Actually returned a 65 inch TV by another manufacture because it was to big. Picture and motion much better on the Sony.

For not having cable, satellite, or any other type for "pay for TV" it has great picture. Takes you a while to get the picture the way you like it. Also take a good minute to get used to where everything is.
