My only real issue currently is a seemingly unresponsive or inability to alter the refresh rate for content coming through smart tv apps. Updating additional inputs was no issue but watching content through the included Amazon or Netflix apps is difficult as a film buff who prefers the look of 24p. So currently preferring content fed in via hdmi sources.

Open box deal is good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This review is about a SONY 55" - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV, Model: XBR55X850C. The purchase was an open box deal 5 month ago. The picture and sound quality are great. The setup was easy, and I did not have any issue with this TV during the 5 months of use. I have used the regular TV and smart TV features so far. I have not tested the 3D feature yet. I very like the all black design and the low and stabile TV stand. I do not regret choosing the open box deal. The overall shopping experience at Best Buy in Raleigh, Crabtree Mall was very pleasant. The salesperson, Joshua was nice, helpful and knowledgeable. He helped us to make the right decision when we were looking at different TVs. I applied for a Best Buy credit card due to additional discounts, and it was a quick and smooth process.

3D??

However it'd you compare it to an lg the lg tv comes with glasses and it is passive 3D so additional glasses or replacements are cheap. How this tv was 1200$ comes with no glasses and because it is an active 3D system you must buy glasses and the cheapest I've found is 30$ but still haven't purchased.
