This was far better than I had expected. I purchased the "open box" option, and everything worked great.

Great tv, would have liked to have better preparation advice from those in store on what needed for installation.

I will admit that this is my first 4K Ultra HD TV, but prior to purchasing we compared with multiple similar models and other brands...and this was the best quality picture for the price. I have since started to re-watch many a beloved movie...and it is like watching them for the first time.

This was a great purchase was inspired by the tv tech who showed me the difference of a 60 vrs 120 hertz panel.

was not told by sales person nothing is being broadcasted in ultra 4k so i cannot get the full brnefit of the tv

We previously had a sharp television.The salesperson was very helpful assisting us with this purchase.

This is our second large screen TV and we love it. Being new to Smart TVs, we weren't sure if we could handle the electronics. But, we were able to call the help phone number for Sony and they talked us thru the connections. It works very well with our Cox internet service.

Need to read more on set up the sound & TV & DVD. All 3 Sony, but tv indicates 100% sound & sound bar 50%...

Overall good, but small cons system slow controller no reaction Sometimes

Normally I buy Samsung but definitely impressed by quality of this tv

In my opinion the tv is in need of a good sound bar. Also it take some time to get the picture settings on.

I bought this tv to replace my vizio 4k p series but it was not better to me at all it was a lot dimmer and had almost the same amount of film grain this tv is good because of the Android and hdr capabilities. Replaced this tv with the samsung 8500 4k model which is much better. This tv is good if you are on a budget but if want a 4k tv try the new vizio m series first.

I wish it were easier to operate using BrightHouse control. It's going to be a long learning curve.

some times my t.v is slow changing the channels and I do not know how to scan but other than that it is ok.

I purchased this TV on June, 2015 and have had it for over 9 months. Everything works great still.

The TV is good, 4K resolution and higher frame rate than most competitors. If you have the budget, go for it!

I was about to get a Samsung 4k until the salesman told me about the Sony they have on sales plus it has 3b ready ...never had one before good upscaling especially with YouTube the Samsung ssg-5150 GB glasses do work on this Sony xbr55850c .I'm very happy with purchase.love the smart remote also.

We bought this TV after a lot of research. It is 120 Hz, which was a requirement for me. The colors are great and the 4K resolution is noticeable on streamed media. The only thing I would improve would be the sound; its weak, as expected on a thin TV, and we needed to buy a soundbar.

Possibly more features than I wanted as I was not interested in 3D
