This product has a good style and the picture is great. It needs an auxiliary source of sound production like any flat screen and the android based operating system has some bugs. I have had to force restart it a couple times, but overall happy with the product. It is definitely overpriced by a fair amount though.

Had my eyes set on this Sony for a while and finally pulled the trigger. Well worth it. Picture quality is amazing. Blu-rays and PS4 games look gorgeous. Paired it up with the Sony CT780 soundbar and sounds perfect for my small apartment. Only complaint I would have is the viewing angles. Seems to fade when you're watching from an angle other than dead on but does not affect me with the couch right in front of the TV. Also had to adjust picture settings for a while to get it perfect but you have to do that with every unit regardless. Other than that well worth the buy.

After doing almost a month of research and in-person observations, I went for the 55" 4K LED 3D TV and am so happy I did. The picture quality, brightness, display size, and screen quality are all top notch and I'm extremely satisfied with this. While I know that 4K is only just getting started, even regular HD picture looks extremely crisp and even better thanks to upgauging technology.

This is a great TV. I bought it to replace an old 43" LCD that died in my bedroom. I was worried about the size, given the increase from 43" to 55" but with the huge borders on the old TV it really isn't that much larger. I'm glad I didn't settle for a 49", which was my initial plan. Given the cost on this I am extremely happy. The upscaling in spectacular, the colors are great and it can display HDR as well (granted not as well as the new 1000 nits TV's released this year, but still pretty good). The smart features work flawlessly. I did buy a soundbar for it but the sound from the TV is actually pretty good. Overall, I recommend this TV.

Out of the box this Sony TV has great colors but suffers from funny looking skin, like it's "overly" processed. But after some tweaking of settings, basically turning off some settings (I wish I could remember their name) this TV shines. Netflix 4k content looks AWESOME! And HD cable content (upscaled to 4k) looks pretty impressive also. If you have quality content, it looks great. One complaint that I have is the angle viewing. This degrades the blacks and overall picture quality. I believe this is inherent of LED TVs, Samsungs do the same, so it is not necessarily a Sony problem. Overall very pleased with this TV once settings were adjusted. Have not tried the 3D function.

Provides very clear image quality, more sound clarity than regular TVs and to top it all off, it is an Android TV and provides excellent Smart TV capabilities. Sony IMHO is the best with regards to picture clarity. Its very easy to set up by yourself and is very sleek. Worth the money.

So far we have had the TV for 2 weeks. The color is great, the sound is too. We are still learning how to navigate things, but pretty user freindly

The picture quality is really good. We are enjoying our first Smart TV. We have a total of 3 Sony TVs in our house. Wish they still made the smaller ones though for smaller rooms.

This tv is awesome! highly recommend this to anyone looking for a 4k tv, I haven't used the 3d feature yet but am really looking forward to it! Blue ray movies look so amazing.

The clarity of the TV is amazing. I love watching 3D movies on it but getting the glasses paired the first time was a chore. The real problem with the TV is the apps I'm guess. I have to reset the TV every other week because no video will play from Netflix or Hulu. I can hear the sound but it will not play the video. When I call Sony support they have me reset the entire TV which works but I need to then re-establish all my settings and logins which is a chore.

Beautiful picture and easy to set up. The Netflix issue some people had problems with has been resolved with a firmware update. I would give 5 stars if the manual was complete and useful. Why don't manufacturers include a full guide with products anymore. There isn't one on the Sony website.

Excellent TV worth the price we paid for it. The picture is so clear and vivid. Very easy to navigate through the programs. Remote that comes with the tv is a nice feature to have and easy to use. Would definitely recommend it. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

I recently purchased the Sony XBR55" 4K TV. The quality of the picture is awesome. The set comes with great software features like a voice operated remote for accessing internet applications and other features. The user guides and instructions that come with the set leave a lot to be desired. I find myself constantly going to the Sony web site to try to find info on a feature. I have had the set now for around 3 weeks and have settled in on the various setup options. I recently purchased a Sony blu-ray player which works great with the TV. I highly recommend this set to anyone that is looking for a great pictures and very decent sound.

Had a 1080 Samsung and wanted to upgrade to a 4k tv. Thought another Samsung would be the way to go but after reviewing the features and the picture quality I had to go with the Sony . Easy setup Did it myself. A few minor picture adjustments and the picture is awesome.

Honestly this is the best tv I have ever had or ever seen! Picture quality is outstanding and the upscaling is great! Recommend to all!!

Was in the market for a 55-60" and decided on this one based on the features. The picture quality is amazing. We watch a lot of sports - hockey in particular - and there is so little blur with the action. Plenty of connections for components. Sound quality is not the best but we purchased a Sony soundbar with subwoofer and it really is like being in the movie theatre. I only wish they had put the remote sensor in a different place. Our TV isn't mounted on the wall and with the sound bar sitting in front of it, it blocks the sensor. We had to raise the TV to sit a few inches higher to accommodate.

Was looking for a LED TV - the last one we had was a LCD and put off a lot of heat. This TV is very stream line, light weight, has a great picture and of course the smart TV features are awesome. This TV was easy to install and set up. I highly recommend this TV.

Reviews will drive you insane when looking for your next TV. I researched several TV manufacturers online, read reviews from countless sources and settled on the Sony. Best Buy was a Great help explaining the different options available and what was important to me. I've had the TV for several months now and I'm completely happy with the picture quality and all of the features it has. Excellent TV for the price!!!

We bought this TV to watch the Super Bowl. The picture is awesome, very clear and sharp. I also enjoy the ability to watch movies and shows on Netflix and other apps available on the TV. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a high quality, reasonable prices TV.

First off I want to say that I am definitely satisfied with this purchase. I made sure to do a lot of research before getting a TV and this is the one I decided on. The TV looks amazing, and with more 4k content being released all the time this TV will be exactly what you need to be ready for the next level of HD. Pros: - Great image - Good upscaling, makes 1080p images look even better. - It uses android TV which serves to streamline some clunky TV UIs. Cons. - Playstation now is still as of now not available on the TV. This should be fixed in the future, along with other apps being released to Android TV. - I got this TV for gaming at 4k, and even though it supposedly has HDMI 2.0 I have yet to get the tv running at 60Hz above 1920x1080.
