I had tried two other brands prior to purchasing this Sony. I wanted a 4K and a faster motion rate than my basic Emerson 1080P I got on Black Friday a few years ago. I started with TCL from Walmart and then tried a Vizio from Best Buy. Neither gave me the picture quality I was after with that vibrant color and real life picture appearance. On Black Friday I stumbled across this TV for $200 off and when I saw it against the one I had, it was apparent it was worth the money. I hooked it up that next day and right away I saw what I had been after all along. Great features and I have friends who purchased a Samsung TV on Black Friday and this TV in my opinion has better picture quality.

Well, I read the reviews, I decided to buy this Sony 4K TV. Let me tell you, AMAZING PICTURE!!!! I am glad that I got this TV. I also bought the Sony Sound Bar so sound quality is not an issue. I highly recommend this TV to everyone.

We purchased this after returning a sam***g that was slightly higher priced, The screen of the other tv was gorgeous playing the companies marketing content. The colors and clarity were mesmerizing. Then we took it home and tried to watch sports in HD and there was this awful judder that was unbearable and unwatchable. So after reading reviews we chose this one and it is a gorgeous tv. Sports are great. I love the presets it gives you to make adjustments to the picture and I love the neflix button on the remote. Sound is very good but if you like theater sound you will need a soundbar. I also really like the stand- much sleeker than the boomerang that was attached to the other tv.

TV is great, great picture, great quality overall wonderful. The only complaint is the TV itself has about a 4 inch back-and-forth give when on the stand. It does lean back slightly.

Our old TV died after many years of service. We purchased the Sony 56 inch TV as a replacement. The picture is great, the colors are vibrant and deep. It has all the new bells and whistles.

One year in and so far so good!! Good crisp colors and really nice tuner for my OTA stations!

I would really like to give this 3.5 stars, but half stars aren't possible. It loses half a star for Sony removing the ability to stream PS3 games directly to it for play. The more serious issue that cost it a full star, is the Sony menu system. As is normal for a Sony menu, there are a lot of annoying screens and layers making things difficult to find. No dedicated sleep timer button on the remote means you have to dig through menus to set a sleep timer. Also, the tv can be sluggish to respond to remote control when using it for android tv features. Even the volume indicator doesn't show up every time you change volume. Sometimes only after I've adjusted sound up or down three or four times. That being said, the picture quality is amazing. The sound is as good as I expect from a TV without a soundbar. The refresh rate is great. Most importantly for me, it is good for gaming on. I also use it as a second monitor for my computer.

Fantastic picture and sound. Great 4K television. The picture as well as the sound compliment each other. The frame is thin, grey color so it's not so noticeable as the black frames.

But when I got this baby home, I wasn't disappointed! This model displays awesomely! I have always liked Sony products, and have bought Sony TV's since the Sony Vega. This TV replaced a 7 or 8 year old 40" Sony 1080p LED, and when I first got that one, some friends came by and asked if it was a 3D TV! It was because they had never seen such clarity in a TV before. Now that I have this 4K HDR beauty, it looks like a portal to another reality when viewing 4K movies! I do know that the newer model I wanted has an even better display, but I can safely say that this model is just as beautiful when set up here in my living room, and I am not missing a thing!

Best Buy had one the best deals with this TV that I could not pass up. This is a really great TV, one of the best ones I have. Great price and great quality. I have always liked Sony.

I got this TV on a special deal along with a PS4 PRO. I have been very pleased with the quality of the video I am getting. 4K video (and gaming) truly look spectacular, once you get all the settings adjusted properly. You would think that a TV with a gaming mode would optimize all the setttings for gaming in the, oh I don't know, gaming preset? But like I said, the picture and video quality (and HDR) look very very good. Now, the sound is another issue. The speakers in this TV just suck. There is no nice way to say it. They're bad. Luckily I bet most users will just be using this TV as a monitor anyway along with some sort of home theater or surround sound system. Unfortunately, no such luck for me. Mine is sitting above the fireplace in my living room. Now I have to investigate getting some sort of sound bar to place on the mantle. Meh. Would I recommend? Only if you have another source for audio. The picture is great. The sound blows.

The picture quality is great! Beautiful colors and great sound. If I didn't already have a soundbar I wouldn't need one with this TV.

Great picture, easy use and setup, and compatible with my PS4. I loved my old Bravia which I've had for almost 10 years and counting, and this one looks to be no exception!

This is a great starter 4k TV for those looking to break into the new resolution. It includes HDR and natural 4k which really gives my games a shine. It may not have all the bells and whistle a newer smart TV has, like Vizio's, but the quality is far beyond theirs.

I would highly recommend comparing as I did because I have had sony's before an this one is just as good of quality as the old ones. Very light weight and easy to mount on a wall.

Is big, is beautiful, you can watch it anywhere in living room and get the same picture quality. I love it, picture is crisp, clean.. Color is amazingly brilliant and vibrant.

As always Sony has the best picture and sound,easy to operate, can't say enough good things about Sony, especially at this price

Great picture! Looks great in our bedroom. Instruction weren't very clear and had to call Sony to get help getting the remote to work. Overall very happy with this tv so far.

Purchase this TV on Black Friday very easy setup from out of the box to up and running five minutes. Combined with a Sony upscaling Blu-ray player movie quality is awesome!

I was stoked to see a PS4 PRO / Sony TV bundle. I was hoping for a Black Friday deal and this was the only bundle available. Although the price was pretty steep, I couldn't be happier with the purchase! The TV itself did a wonderful job of up-scaling the original PS4 graphics compared to what I was getting with my 1080P Vizio. The combo with the PS4 Pro is fantastic. All of my games played beautifully!! I also upgraded my Netflix to Ultra mode so I could test out the 4k capabilities. Simply amazing. Even a 90's show like friends seemed smoother and better in every way. Can't wait to enjoy this TV for years to come.
